The aim of underground containers in the collection of urban solid municipal solid waste. The containers that used to be overground are hidden underground, so rubbish cannot be seen. The container remains hidden under a lid with the same finish as pavement.

The system consists of a series of lifting platforms which are kept inside a concrete pit covered by a lid, so the top bin is the only visible element of the equipment. The result is a nice and discrete look, integrated in the surroundings.

Los Contenedores Soterrados están destinados a la recogida de Residuos Sólidos Urbanos. La basura queda bajo tierra enterrando el contenedor que tradicionalmente estaba a la vista, quedando éste oculto bajo una tapa con el mismo acabado que la acera.

El sistema consiste en una serie de plataformas elevadoras, con tapa pavimentada, en un foso de hormigón, quedando a la vista solamente el buzón de depósito, manteniendo un aspecto agradable, discreto e integrado con el espacio que los rodea.

Los Contenedores Soterrados de Capacidad Estándar consisten en una isla de buzones de deposición sobre uno de los tres sistemas de soterrados disponibles: Side, Back o Clip.

Son sistemas compatibles con los actuales sistemas de recogida de residuos. Se entierran los contenedores de superficie tradicionales, que serán elevados hasta la superficie para su vaciado como cualquier otro contenedor convencional.

1 - Tambor: por donde se deposita el residuo. Impide caídas accidentales, al bloquear el acceso al interior del foso en el momento de uso, aportando máxima seguridad.

Drum: this is the part of the equipment where waste is introduced. It prevents accidental falls because, when being used, this system blocks access to the pit, thus providing a maximum of safety.

2 - Cuerpo: es el elemento principal, robusto y resistente. Está formado por un túnel de acero galvanizado con acabado gris forja. (Opcionalmente en acero inoxidable)

Body: it is the main element of the system and it is tough and resistant. It is composed of a galvanized steel tunnel with forge grey finish. (Optional in stainless steel)

3- Placa identificativa de residuo: fabricada en aluminio anodizado, con pictograma y color para identificar la fracción a depositar

Waste identification plate: made of anodised aluminium, with pictogram and colour to identify the kind of waste to be introduced.

4 - Zócalo: en la parte inferior del buzón se instala un zócalo de plástico ABS con perfil en "L". Este elemento está pensado como un embellecedor que evita que la junta entre el buzón y la plataforma quede visible.

Ringo es el primer buzón del mercado en incorporar el nuevo sistema de apertura - cierre Soft Close. Se trata de un sistema de cierre automático, gracias a la instalación de cilindros de gas en el tambor del buzón, consigue suavizar el cierre, reduciendo los ruidos y evitando el efecto rebote que se produce en los buzones del mercado que cierran por contrapeso.

El asa integrada en el buzón facilita la apertura y al estar instalada a baja altura, es accesible para cualquier persona (niños, mayores, discapacitados,..) Además, el tambor lleva instalada una goma para reducir el ruido y evitar golpes.

El buzón Ringo ofrece la posibilidad de incorporar una puerta comercial de gran capacidad en la parte trasera del buzón, con el objetivo de facilitar el depósito de basura a grandes productores (restaurantes, bares, mercados...)

Ringo is the first container in the market to incorporate a new opening-closing system called "Soft Close". It is an automatic closing system. Thanks to the installation of gas cylinders in the top bin's drum, the system softens the closing operation, thus reducing noise and preventing the rebound effect produced in other top bins found in the market that close using counterweights.

The integrated handle makes it easier to open the top bin and because it has a low height, it can be used by anyone (children, the elderly, the disabled, etc.). Also, the drum features a rubber in order to reduce noise and prevent blows.

Ringo top bin offers the possibility to add a high capacity commercial rear door in order to facilitate the waste disposal to large producers of rubbish (restaurants, bars, markets, etc.)

Cuando el residuo a depositar es vidrio, papel o envases de plástico, disponemos de bocas especiales para ellos. Estas bocas son accesorios que se incorporan al buzón standard y que resuelven cada necesidad particular.

Vidrio: Una placa con dos bocas de 180 mm de diámetro en el interior del tambor, que impide la introducción de elementos de superior tamaño.

Papel: Un tambor con mayor área abierta, que permite introducir piezas de cartón con mayor facilidad

Cada buzón Ringo está equipado con una placa identificativa del residuo a introducir. Está placa de aluminio anodizado junto con el color identificativo de cada residuo, incorpora pictogramas del residuo y una enumeración con los productos a introducir.

When the waste to be deposited is glass, paper or plastic packages, we have special apertures for each of them. These apertures are accessories that are added to the standard top bin to meet any specific need.

Glass: A plate with two apertures of 180 mm in diameter located inside the drum prevents the introduction of bigger elements.

Paper: A drum with a bigger open area which allows the introduction of cardboard pieces more easily.

Each Ringo top bin is equipped with a plate indicating the type of waste to be introduced in the container. This anodized aluminum plate features the color indicating the type of waste, the corresponding pictograms and a list of products that can be introduced.

Para posicionar los contenedores en superficie, se acciona el sistema hidráulico de elevación de la plataforma y mientras ésta asciende se abre la tapa automáticamente. Los contenedores posicionados en superficie, pueden ser tomados como cualquier otro contenedor convencional.

El equipo Side es el mas versátil, ya que además de contenedores de carga lateral permite trabajar con contenedores de carga trasera y carga pluma. Permitiendo al ayuntamiento cualquier cambio de sistema de recogida sin sobrecostes.

When the lifting hydraulic system is operated, the platform raises the containers to the street level and, at the same time, the lid opens automatically. Once the containers are overground, they can be handled as any other standard container.

"Side" equipment is the most versatile one because it allows using side-load, rear-load and crane-lift containers. This allows the council to change the collection system without incurring in extra costs.

Cada sistema Side se ubica en un foso de hormigón independiente. Cada equipo se compone de una plataforma elevadora con tapa abatible que alberga uno o dos contenedores en su interior, un buzón por cada contenedor y un sistema de elevación hidráulico con mando a distancia.

Each "Side" system is individually placed inside a separate concrete pit. Each of the equipments is composed of a lifting platform with hinged lid that houses one or two containers in the inside, one top bin per container and a hydraulic lifting system operated by remote control.

Plataforma SideSe eleva gracias a dos cilindros hidráulicos de tiro vertical y un estabilizador tipo tijera. Lleva asociada una tapa abatible a 90º mediante la acción de dos empujadores.

Permite una regulación acorde con el desnivel longitudinal y/o transversal de la calle hasta un máximo de un 15%.

El sistema Side es el más versátil, ya que es compatible con cualquiera de los sistemas de recogida: - Contenedores de Carga Lateral FV de capacidad aumentada hasta 4.000l (1). Esta posibilidad permite aumentar la cantidad de basura soterrada evitando el desbordamiento de residuos al interior del foso. - Contenedores de Carga Lateral normalizados de 2.400 ó 3.200l (2). - Contenedores de Carga Trasera (3).- Contenedores de Carga Pluma. (4)

Especialmente adecuado para aquellos clientes que tengan usen otros sistemas de recogida, y tengan previsto cambiar a carga lateral en un futuro.

"SIDE" INNER CONTAINERS"Side" system is the most versatile one because it is compatible with any collection system:

- FV side-load containers with a capacity increased up to 4,000 L (1). This possibility allows to increase the amount of waste kept underground, avoiding the overflow of waste into the pit.- Standardized side-load containers with a capacity of 2,400 or 3,200 L (2).- Rear-load containers (3). - Crane-lifted containers (4).

CENTRAL HIDRÁULICA + MANDO A DISTANCIA.

Permite el funcionamiento de los equipos de forma automática, con una central hidráulica conectada a la red eléctrica. La central se aloja en una arqueta anexa al foso, bajo una tapa metálica pavimentable, abatible 90º, con una apertura asistida mediante un cilindro de gas.

El accionamiento se realiza mediante mando a distancia, desde la cabina del camión de recogida. Con un solo mando, se recogen todos los equipos Formato Verde de la ciudad, mediante selección de tipo de residuo y posición.

El sistema de mando a distancia Formato Verde está configurado de manera que no existen aperturas indeseadas de otros equipos. El modo de accionamiento funciona de manera que al soltar el botón de subida o bajada, se interrumpe la maniobra.

"SIDE" LIFTING SYSTEMHydraulic station + Remote control.It allows the automatic operation of equipment with a hydraulic station connected to the mains. The station is housed in an adjacent manhole, under a metallic lid that can be paved, hinged up to 90º, with a gas-cylinder-assisted opening.

It is operated by means of a remote control from the collection truck's cab. All Formato Verde's equipments of the city are collected with a single remote control by selecting the position and the kind of waste.

Formato Verde's remote control system is set to avoid unwanted openings of other equipments. The operation mode is as follows: when the up or down button is released, the operation is paused.

Cada equipo Back se ubica en un foso independiente de hormigón. Cada equipo se compone de una plataforma elevadora con tapa que alberga los contenedores en su interior, un buzón por cada contenedor y un sistema de elevación (central hidráulica o adaptación a camión).

La tapa y la plataforma están unidas, conformando una única estructura que soporta los contenedores. Dentro de la plataforma, cada contenedor de RSU tiene su alojamiento independiente. Sobre la tapa se coloca el pavimento con el acabado deseado. La elevación se realiza mediante dos cilindros hidráulicos y un estabilizador doble tipo tijera simple.

Permite una regulación acorde con el desnivel longitudinal y/o transversal de la calle hasta un máximo de un 15%.

"BACK" PLATFORMThe lid and the platform are connected forming a single structure that supports the containers. Each MSW container has its separate housing inside the platform. The lid can be paved with the desired finish. The lifting operation is performed by means of two hydraulic cylinders and a double scissor-type stabilizer.

It can be adjusted according to the longitudinal and/or transverse slope of the street up to a maximum of 15%.

HYDRAuLIC STATIONOption B: Hydraulic station.The equipment is raised autonomously by means of a hydraulic station, which is connected to the mains power and housed in an adjacent manhole under a metallic cover that can be paved and hinged 90º, with a gas-cylinder-assisted opening.

The station's operation is performed by means of a command turret located on the surface.

The operation mode is as follows: when the turret stops being operated, the operation is paused.

OPCIÓN AAdaptación al camiónSe realiza una adaptación en el camión de recogida, de manera que el equipo se eleva utilizando su circuito hidráulico al conectarlo mediante un enchufe rápido con la toma que lleva incorporada el equipo soterrado.

Los componentes del sistema son:- Enchufe de rápido hembra (en el camión)- Enchufe rápido macho (en el equipo)- Enrollador de manguera- Manguera- Instalación hidráulica con regulador unidireccional

La adaptación en el circuito del camión puede ser sustituida por una central hidráulica portátil de 24V instalada en el camión de recogida.

"BACK" LIFTING SYSTEMOption A: Adaptation to truckAn adaptation is performed on the collection truck and the equipment is lifted using its hydraulic circuit by connecting it by means of a quick disconnect fitting to the port of the underground equipment.

The components of the system are:-Female quick disconnect fitting (on truck).-Male quick disconnect fitting (on equipment).-Hose reel.-Hose.-Hydraulic system with one-way regulator.

The adaptation to the truck's circuit can be replaced by a 24V-portable hydraulic station installed on the collection truck.

Cada equipo Clip se ubica en un foso independiente de hormigón. Cada equipo se compone de una tapa con cilindros hidráulicos que oculta los contenedores, un buzón por cada contenedor y un sistema de elevación (central hidráulica o adaptación a camión).

La tapa permite una regulación acorde con el desnivel longitudinal y/o transversal de la calle hasta un máximo de un 15%. Each "Clip" system is placed inside a separate concrete pit. Each of the equipments is composed of a lid with hydraulic cylinders that hides the containers, one top bin per container and a lifting system (hydraulic station or adaptation to truck).

The lid can be adjusted according to the longitudinal and/or transverse slope of the street up to a maximum of 15%. The cylinder's position can also be adjusted so that the lid is always vertical when reaching its maximum opening position, notwithstanding the transverse slope of the street

Fabricado en polietileno rotomoldeado, con estructura metálica (perfilería, compuertas, bandeja de retención y asas) galvanizadas en caliente. Disponer de bandeja de retención de lixiviados, que evita su derrame.

"CLIP" INNER CONTAINERExclusively designed to be used with "Clip" equipment. Made of rotomolded polyethylene, with hot-dipped galvanized metal structure (profiles, doors, spill tray and handles). It is a low height, light, easy-to-use and easy-to-clean container.

It has a leachate tray that avoids it to be spilled.

There are different capacities available:- 3m3 container. Dimensions: 1.500x1.500x1.800mm; Weight: 100Kg- 5m3 container. Dimensions: 1.500x1.500x2.800mm; Weight: 150Kg

OPCIÓN AAdaptación al camiónSe realiza una adaptación en el camión de recogida, de manera que el equipo se eleva utilizando su circuito hidráulico al conectarlo mediante un enchufe rápido con la toma que lleva incorporada el equipo soterrado.

Los componentes del sistema son:- Enchufe de rápido hembra (en el camión)- Enchufe rápido macho (en el equipo)- Enrollador de manguera- Manguera- Instalación hidráulica con regulador unidireccional

La adaptación en el circuito del camión puede ser sustituida por una central hidráulica portátil de 24V instalada en el camión de recogida.

"SIDE" LIFTING SYSTEMOption A: Adaptation to truckAn adaptation is performed on the collection truck and the equipment is lifted using its hydraulic circuit by connecting it by means of a quick disconnect fitting to the port of the underground equipment.

The components of the system are:-Female quick disconnect fitting (on truck).-Male quick disconnect fitting (on equipment).-Hose reel.-Hose.-Hydraulic system with one-way regulator.

The adaptation on truck can be replaced by a 24V-portable hydraulic station installed on the collection truck.

El equipo se eleva de forma autónoma mediante una central hidráulica conectada a la red eléctrica y alojada en una arqueta anexa la foso, bajo una tapametálica pavimentable, abatible 90º con aperturaasistida mediante un cilindro de gas.

El accionamiento de la central se realiza medianteuna torreta de control ubicada en superficie.

El modo de accionamiento funciona de manera que al dejar de actuar la torreta, se interrumpe la maniobra.

HYDRAuLIC STATIONOption B: Hydraulic stationThe equipment is raised autonomously by means of a hydraulic station, which is connected to the mains power and housed in an adjacent manhole under a metallic cover that can be paved and hinged 90º, with a gas cylinder assisted opening.

The station's operation is performed by means of a command turret located on the surface.

The operation mode is as follows: when the turret stops being operated, the operation is paused.

DIRECTIVAS DE APLICACIÓN- Directiva de Máquinas 2006/42/CE transpuesta a la legislación española mediante el Real Decreto 1644/2008 por el que se establecen las normas para la comercialización y puesta en servicio de las Máquinas.

- Directiva sobre compatibilidad electromagnética 2004/108/CE que se incorpora al derecho español mediante la publicación del Real Decreto 1580/2006 por el que se regula la compatibilidad electromagnética de los equipos eléctricos y electrónicos.
