1: Install Ctrix Neighborhood with below Setting Properties

Getting Start ALV(Alarm LIST VIEWER.
AlV is used to view active alarms in BSS Network.

Select NE(Network elementsBSCs)
South 1 maintain sites of :BSC02,BSC03—BSC09&BSC20,some sites in BSC10.
South 2 maintain sites of :BSC21,BSC35,some sites in BSC10

View all alarms present in respective BSCs.
• Select BSCS
• Right click, and select View Alarms
• Here all alarms appear, to sort out site down alarms we create Filter name as Cell logical alarms, it only shows site down alarms and filter out all other(Radio alarms,E1 Alarms, External Alarms)Alarms

Create Filters in ALV to filter out definite Alarms:
• Click Filter from Edit menu or Click located below Edit menu.
• Select New, & Name the Filter i.e. Test_SOP_Filter.

• Choice specific Attributes from left column & Select it to Right column.
Select Predefined Values against the selected Attributes.
Selected Attributes: Specific Problem.
Predefined Values: select cell logical availability from list, & click OK.

How to use ALB(Alarm log Browser)
• Select Time:
• Select BSCs:

• Choice Format for the search data.
• Expanded or RAW data format is normally used for INSPUR
• Tab Separated Format used for reporting purpose.
• Save Data
Save LOG Alarms in OSS server in specific user (ericfops) home directory.
/home/ericfops/cha

CH (Command Handling).
• CH is used to RUN different commands to perform jobs within the BTS network.
• Select BSC and click on Connect menu.
2: Here we use some basic commands which are used in OMCR operations.
RLCRP: is used to check either site is down or onair.
IF RLCRP print sows cell as BCCH 0 then site is down
& if BCCH is 1, then site is onair. RLCRP command is used to extract BTS outage report.

Check detail status of site.
1: use RXTCP command to find out TG of site.
2: Execute command rxcdp: to print Status of RX, TX.TS, and CF.
Here RXCDP result is: CONFIG (site is onair)
IF RXCDP result is: BLOCKED (site is down)

3: Execute command rxasp: to print Alarms present on the site.
Check RBLT (E1) status of site).
4: Execute command rxapp: to print ABis Devise number.
Divide the Devise number by 32(RBLT2‐6846/32=213RBL2)
5: Execute command DTSTP: to print ABis path status (RBLS ‐WO or RBL2‐ ABL).

Check Status of TRX of any site with its all subordinates.
6: Execute command rxmsp:
Check Status of GPRS links of BSC.
7: Execute command RRGBP:
1 GPRS link is down as 1127‐NSVCI is block
2 GPRS link is UP as 1101 & 1112‐NSVCI is Active

Check Status of C7 links status.
7: Execute command C7ltp:
SLC 00 of MSC 20 & SLC01 is active
Dangerous Commands:
Whenever you execute any command end with I,E or C ,grouped as Dangerous commands a Warning menu appear.

How to Block /de Block Site.
1. Execute command RXBLI:mo=rxotg‐xxx,subord,force.
2. Execute rxese: mo=rxotg‐xxx,subord,force then
3. Execute rxesi: mo=rxotg‐xxx,subord,force then
4. Execute command RXBLE: mo=rxotg‐xxx,subord,force.
Execute all 4 commands in above sequence, first block TG, the TG out of service, after command rxese completely RUN, execute TG in service & finally run RXBLE to deBlock TG
How to Block /de Block only DXU.
1. Execute command RXBLI:MO=RXOCF‐xxx,,force.
2. Execute command RXBLE:MO=RXOCF‐xxx,, force.

This command used frequently whenever site is down due to power issue & DXU failed to get operational. Note that always check status of E1 before reset DXU.if you reset DXU when E1 is ABL then DXU status changed to LOCAL mode & cannot get operational when its status changed physically from site.
In this case site went LOCAL mode E1/RBLT2 is ABL.
How to LOCKED/Halt a site/cells:
1. RUN command rlstp:cell=xxx;(to check status of site. already locked or onair)
2. RUN rlstc:cell=xxx4,state=halted;(to halt cell 4 of site xxx)
3. Run command rlstc:cell=xxx4,state=active;(to active/unlock cell 4 of site xxx)
How to Blocked E1 of any site:
1. RUN command DTBLE:DIP=xxRBLT2;
2. RUN command DTBLi:DIP=xxRBLT2;
This command is used to change MBL state of E1 to WO or ABL.
How to refresh E1 error counter of a site:
1. RUN command DTQSR:DIP=xxRBLT2,UNACC,DEGR;
How to refresh E1 error counter of all sites in BSC:
2. RUN command DTQSR:DIP=all;

USE OPS(operational procedure support.
1. Right click on OSS window, click TOOL AXE management OPS.
2. OPS blank window open.
3. Click open from file menu to open sripts, saved in OSS home directory:/home/username/cha/scripts.

1. Regions & Zones. Ericsson BTS & BSS Equipment use in South region. South 1: O&M by CMPAKFOPS of BSC02,03,04,05,06,07,08,09,20,& some sites in BSC 21 & BSC10. South 2: MS by PPL of BSC21, BSC35 & some sites in BSC10.

Outage escalation procedure; 1: Single site down. 2: More than 4 sites down. 3: GPRS link down.
1:On Call Intimation: Inform the Vsat or single city / more than 4 sites outage to FOPS CM Engineer along with FOPS cluster owner, if outage not restored after 10 minutes inform the issue to concern Fops manager & after 20—30 minutes if outage not restored informed to NMC manager always (in case of single outage) if more than 5 sites are down then inform manager NMC & FOPS after 10‐‐‐15minutes.
2:SMS Generation: Generate SMS to the FOPS after 10 minutes.
