Objective
1. To make awareness about the importance of processing of Fruit and vegetables
2. To learn preparation of various by products from fruits and vegetables such as Jam,
Jelly, Marmalade, Juices, Cherry, RTS, Ketchup, Sauces, Pickles, Wafers etc.
3. To extend life of value added products by using various methods.
4. To get information of marketing of value added products.
5. To get information of ideal plant selection for plantation from authorised nurseries.
6. To get information about the project preparation for processing industry

Out Come
1. Students get in detail information of scope, importance of processing and preservation of
fruits and vegetable value added products.
2. Student get theoretical and practical knowledge of preparation of Jam, Jelly, Marmalade,
squash, Juices, Nectar, Cherry, Pickles, Tomato ketchup, Chutnney, Purrey, Suace, Soup,
Potato wafers etc.
3. Student can start their own business and become a small entrepreneur
4. They can prepare documentation and project for starting a industry and applying bank
loan
