RESULTSRESULTS: up to 228 pg/g Os with 187Os/188Os = 0.16 to 0.19
•unradiogenic
•Low Os/Pt ratio - indication of a good purification of the PGEs

•• ResultsResults: loss of up to 95% of osmium
• If we accept 100% loss during the first year: – Up to 3.6 g sent to the environment every year
– What’s the global impact?
– Local impact?

Specific objectives are:
1- To monitor riverine geochemistry on monthly basis
2- To quantify the fluxes of carbon at the outlet of watersheds and to determine its sources.
3- To identify the source of elements transiting in rivers.
