Day Two, Thursday, June 14, 2012

Continue London sightseeing today in the city of London, passing through the financial district, Tower Bridge, St Paul’s Cathedral including a guided tour of the Tower of London & Crown Jewels. Soon after he became King in 1066 William the Conqueror built a fortress here to guard the entrance to London from the Thames estuary. The Tower has since served as a royal residence, armoury, treasury and most famously as a prison for enemies of the crown. We have time to visit the world famous Madame Tussuard’s Waxworks museum. Early dinner before tonight’s concert performance in a local London venue.

Day Six, Monday, June 18, 2012

We continue Edinburgh sightseeing today by exploring the Royal Mile. The Royal Mile in Edinburgh’s charming Old Town is the perfect place to get acquainted with the Scottish capital. Incorporating four separate streets (Castle Hill, Lawnmarket, High Street and Canongate) it is brimming with charm. We also visit Edinburgh’s largest cathedral, St Giles’ Cathedral which dates back 900 years and is from where the Presbyterian reformer John Knox used to deliver his fiery sermons.
