[Measures against the punching and shifting operation failure when continually

executing jobs]

(Examples of the failure)

- When the job without punching is transmitted to the machine while executing the job with punching, the punching

operation is executed for the job without punching.

- When the job with punching is transmitted to the machine while executing the job without punching, the punching

operation is not executed for the job with punching.

- When the job without shifting is transmitted to the machine while executing the job with shifting, the paper output

from the DF is completed while the paper still remains in the DF middle tray.

-- The paper jam is not displayed, but the message "Remove the paper" appears on the panel before starting the

next job.

-- The engine in the machine recognizes the job without shifting and therefore completes the paper conveying

without sending the final command to the DF. However, the DF does not recognize the job without shifting and

cannot eject the paper from the DF middle tray unless receiving the final command.

- When the job with shifting is transmitted to the machine while executing the job without shifting, the job with

shifting is output without shifting.
