You will use your creative and strong leadership skills to manage a culturally diverse workforce to build and maintain a team equipped to accomplish production budgets and schedules and meet all quality, safety, productivity and cost specifications. A highly effective communicator and a natural problem solver, you will be responsible for process and plant improvement. In addition you will support new product development. You will be required to develop, maintain and train in quality standards which meet company objectives and ensure compliance to appropriate food regulations and packaging specifications. You will be focused on meeting customer and international standards.
An innovative experienced Production Manager you come from the Food Industry and enjoy building professional relationships and getting the best out of people. You have experience leading a mid to large size multi-cultural work force and appreciate the communication and cultural challenges that are sometimes involved. You have the ability to quickly establish yourself as a respected leader. You are comfortable and effective working and liaising across cross functional groups. You are a well organised individual with a flexible approach, who is ok from time to time working some unusual hours. Ideally you come from a trade or engineering background and have experience of AQIS and Fisheries Victoria standards.

R class has a fresh update. Visually the new R-class is more muscular and
appealing than its recently retired predecessor. The bonnet, grille, light cluster
and the air dam all have been undergoing extensive redesign. The back light
cluster has received some serious touch up while retaining the same size and
shape. The rear bumper has been freshened up to fall in line with the overall
muscular and aerodynamic theme. Most importantly, the new image is further
enhanced by 20inches alloy wheels. Hence, people may appreciate it as a
SUV with an all time four wheel drive.
Personally, I find its contour is smooth and has been given a coupe like flair.
Otherwise, people would feel being put into a boring mini truck. The reborn R
Class matches perfectly with the mission of Mercedes Benz’s unique
classical, adventurous and fun image. The result is a fresh, positive and
courageous outlook, that standout from all its competitors.
On the other hand, R class is a sporty SUV or people mover created for those
who occasionally have to carry 6 passengers, but who still want to enjoy life
and being pampered by the luxury features in the car.
New bits
Only one diesel engine line up with a three-litre turbo-diesel, direct injection.
It has a healthy power of 140kW at 4000rpm. Torque power is 440Nm
available from a wide range from just 1,400 to 2,800rpm. : Fuel consumption
(l/100km): 9.3 with a tank that carries 80 litres of diesel fuel. Responsive
seven-speed transmission, automatic gear box with manual override and
paddle shift control at the steering wheel. The car is matched to a constant all
wheel drive.
Dual front seats Body Contour Control. It is a new added feature to the R
class, as it helps to compliment the normal sitting position. The Body Contour

Control helps to further fine tuning for the best lumbar and bolstering support
position for both front passengers.
Performance
It is quick in terms of using a reliable diesel engine, start still pick up is good
and I think most people wouldn’t race it. Hence, the initial gentle power
matches well with the SUV / people mover theme. When it picks up its pace,
the surging power of the massive torque is very handy of overtaking and
anything in that department.
Although the car is classified as SUV or people mover, it has an unique air
suspension and can be tuned by a flick of switch for Sport or Comfort mode.
Most people would prefer Comfort, however, the Sport mode gave me more
confidence in corning and enjoying a more interactive drive with a pair of
paddle shift located just at the back of the steering wheel.
Finally, it is something that you want. It is not as tall as the ML class, yet, it is
still big and useful and I think it is the answer for its rival X6. Only, I think the
R class makes more sense.
