 Seventh Grade Teachers Mr. Guzman is an incredible teacher.  He teaches his students very well.  Mr. Guzman always adds his sense of humor to his classes, which makes learning in his class very enthusiastic and fun.  A few months ago, the entire seventh grade did  a science experiment.  All of the projects were fantastic and interesting in their own unique way! Mr. Guzman had to pick a few projects that he thought were the best out of the grade. Now, those people went to  the Liberty Science Center for the Science County Fair.  It was with Mr. Guzman’s help and guidance that those people won in this school and went to the Science County Fair, so they were very fortunate to have his help.  

So far over the year, he has covered several different topics, such as, cells, earthquakes, volcanoes, and ocean currents.  Mr. Guzman covered  the subject ocean motion, which is also a chapter name.  The seventh grade classes recently took a chapter test on chapter 16, and I think that because of how well Mr. Guzman taught his students about the subject, many students passed.                                                                          By: Emily Guevara 

 

 

Special Teachers This month Ms. Mendieta is in the Franklin Flyer spotlight. Just like any class, P.E. is not any fun if the teacher isn’t good. Half way into the year, she builds a stronger connection between her and her students. She likes to prepare us for the upcoming events throughout the year, such as baseball, and flag football. Mrs. Mendieta is also preparing her students for the upcoming sport next month,

Music Review  The Chainsmokers & Coldplay- Something Just Like This: 

This song is really more of a chill, relaxing song you like to listen to on a nice sunny day. But, I like how you can still rock out or dance to it as well. I think it’s sounds amazing; the duo (Chainsmokers) and British rock band (Coldplay) crushed their collaboration and should definitely team up more in the future. I think my favorite thing about this song is the beat of the music.                                                                                        By: Grace Bertrand  

 

Gracefully Grayson ‘Gracefully Grayson’ is about a boy who is going through the struggles of trying to become who he or ‘she’ really is. Grayson goes through many troubles in family, friends, school trying to fit in. This book is really inspiring and hands down one of my top 5 books. It really helps you understand what people with alternative lifestyles are going through and how hard it is trying to transform. For this I give this book 10 out of 10.
