International Translation Day Project Translation of the ROSCOSMOS video II prize: Kirillo va Anastasia Lyceum # 37 50 years ago our country made a step to space, revealing to the era of conquest of the extraterrestrial space. In a year of 50 th anniversary of Gagarin’s flight and the creating of the first spacecraft ‘Vostok’ Russia becomes the center of manned space travel. The UN declares 12 th of April the international day of human’s flight to space. The world celebrates the day of cosmonautics according to the dates mentioned in the Russian calendar. An international space station is a human outpost on the Earth’s orbit. It is the biggest cosmic object ever created. Nowadays only Russia is able to send spaceships with cosmonauts on board to the ISS. The mission of Roscosmos of the future decades is to support and develop the space station and move forward to space. The space missions of the 21 st century will begin there on the Far East in Amur region. In this pl ace of severe nature the whole ci ty wi ll appear so on, as well as the advanced spacepor t ‘Vostochniy’ with four launch pads, facilities for training the cosmonauts, hotels, a railway station and an airport. The space launching base ‘Vostochniy’ intends to prove the high status and leading positions of Russian federation in the sphere of space exploration. Today Russia’s again choosing its way to stars. There are lots of ideas of exploring space according to the new federal cosmic program for the decades further. After a long break russian science is on the orbit again. The perfect telescope ‘Radioastrone’ has become the first to be run among the automatic devices of researching the galaxy. In 2013 we are planning to apply the x-ray spectrum for the same purposes, in 2015-in the UV spectrum, and moreover we are now working out a new project on the millimeter radio waves, which will be possibly run in 2017. Such devices as Spectrum OG, Spectrum F, Millimetrone, Fobos-ground and Luna-globe will follow the Radioastrone in investigation of space. Nearly the half of all the world space launches of recent years was performed by Russians. The launch vehicle ‘Soyuz’, the most reliable of those of the middle class receives the new port of registry-the spaceport Courou in French Guiana, the new starting point of ‘Soyuz’. The first Russian rocket will fly from the equator line this autumn.
