Chris is a creative director as he has good ideas and visions on what should happen in shots and where, in order to make our music video appear to have a high production value. Chris would also be a good editor as he has successful past experience with editing and using editing software as well as having an interest in editing. Finally, Chris can be our main performer as he is confident in front of the camera and has awareness in how the artists should act.

I have the role of lighting as I will try to use lighting effectively in order to give a high production value and follow conventions of lighting that are used in other indie pop music videos. I also have the role of director as I have creative ideas about what could happen in our music video that I can discuss effectively with the group in order to ultimately create a visually pleasing and successful music video. Finally I will be a performer as one of the band members to extend the cast and develop the image of the band.

Michael MetzMise-en-Scene,

Cameraman, Creative Director, Performer

Michael is suitable to have the role of mise-en-scene as he has lots of visual ideas about the props and clothing which can help further the star image that we want to create of the artists. Michael would also be a good cameraman as he has a good understanding and experience with handling camera’s and how they can be used effectively to create visually pleasing shots that also fit the mood and atmosphere of the song. Additionally, Michael can be a good creative director as he can have interesting ideas about what could be happening in the music video and communicate these ideas with the group effectively. Michael can be a performer as one of the band members as he is fairly confident with being in front of the camera and has a good understanding of the star image we want to create.
