Rio de Janeiro is going to be the heart of the 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil. It has to be the cynosure of all eyes as
the World Cup Final and a number of other matches will be played here during the month-long sporting event.
Soccer fans from around the globe are waiting anxiously for June 12, when the earths biggest single-event
sporting competition will officially begin, with Sao Paulo hosting the opening match at its newly built Arena
Corinthians.
More than 600,000 foreign tourists will be in Brazil, hopping from one city to another, watching their favorite teamplay in the tournament, and soaking up the jubilant spirit of a football-crazy nation. As many as twelve cities will
host a total of 64 matches scheduled between 32 qualified teams.
Seeing the vastness of the country and the spatial distances between twelve host cities, a large number of extra
flights have been announced to cater to the foreign visitors who need to move between cities to catch their favorite
teams in action. More flights will also help keep costs down for international travelers.

Football Fans go Crazy in RioWitness the Moment
Talking about Rio de Janeiro, it is certainly going to be the most important travel destination in the
next few months. No less than seven matches will be played here, including the final that is
scheduled on July 13, 2014. Tourists and sports fans from around the globe are expected to
throng the city in June and July.
The tickets to Rio de Janeiro, as a result, are selling like hotcakes, and it is highly unlikely thatyou will be offered with any discount prices or bargain deals. The same will be the case with
hotels and other tourist-centric amenities. Calling an experienced travel agent of repute and
getting your flight booked at the earliest will only be a prudent decision, if you are a die-hard
soccer fan.
With England playing all its group matches elsewhere in Brazil, its supporters are not likely to
book flights to Rio de Janeiro several months in advance. However, in the event of England
reaching in the final, one can easily foresee a huge demand for last minute flight deals from an
airport in the UK, especially for London to Rio de Janeiro flights.
Keep your travel options open while negotiating with a travel agent. Plan to see more than one
matches rather than just one. If you can choose to remain in Brazil for the entire duration of the
event, it will become quite easier for you to visit Rio de Janeiro and watch the grand finale.

Support your National TeamBook your Flight to
Brazil
For the sake of information, you must note that England will play its first three matches at
Manaus, Sao Paolo and Belo Horizonte, respectively against Italy, Uruguay and Costa Rica. You
can take a suitable flight to be at Arena Amazonia in Manaus on June 14 when England will take
on Italy.
Several airlines can offer a suitable connection to Manaus and the other two destinations in
Brazil. Including among them is Tap Portugal, which has recently announced two new
destinations in Brazil Manaus and Belem.
Alternatively, you can catch a flight to Sao Paolo prior to June 19 and watch England play with
Uruguay. If you miss the first two matches of England, you can still book a flight to Belo
Horizonte and watch the match with Costa Rica on June 24.
Visiting Belo Horizonte can also bring you near to Rio de Janeiro. The distance between the two
cities is only 437 km, and it wont take more than 6 hours to drive down to Rio from Belo
Horizonte. If you wonder what you would do in Rio de Janeiro on all those days before July 13,
then do remember that the city is going to host seven matches in all, including a possible pre-quarterfinal match of England with the winner of Group C on June 28.
Catch the football fever in Rio with the city all set to host a quarterfinal and the final at its historic
Estadio do Maracana. Besides, you will certainly not want to miss the tourist attractions that city
is known for worldwide. Calling Hoodaki and discussing your plan with an expert agent will be a
great help. You can rely on expert advice and vast experience of Hoodaki.

The iconic Sugarloaf Mountain is worth a visit no matter for what purpose you are in Rio.
Rising 400 meters above the mouth of Guanabara Bay, the mountain looks wonderful from the
ground. Experience a ride in bondinho, a glass-walled cable car that runs every 20 minutesfrom the base of Babilonia Hill to reach the top of the Morro da Urca Hill. Take a second cable
car to climb further up and reach the summit of Sugarloaf Mountain. Enjoy the breathtaking
views.
