Mark Cook has guided the Razorbacks from their infancy through their first 15 years of existence and built one of the more dominant programs in the nation. Cook and Arkansas marked their 12-year anniversary in 2014 and celebrated the program’s first NCAA Individual Champion, as Katherine Grable collected the NCAA title in both vault and floor exercise. In 2015, Cook led the Razorbacks to their 12th-consecutive NCAA Regional appearance and 10th-consecutive top-15 finish.
Cook came to Arkansas in May 2001 to build the Razorback program from scratch. He was consulted on the construction of one of the top practice facilities in the na-tion. He selected, ordered and assembled equipment; and helped fans and Northwest Arkansas quickly accept and learn about his sport. He was also scouting, recruiting and signing the first recruiting class in school history.
