Most traditional houses are mainly constructed from mud. Cow dung is later used as a finishing plaster material for the walls. The next readily available material is stone which means masonry type of houses are common. ケニヤで一番入手し易い建 築材料は、泥です。したが って、ほとんどの伝統的な 住居は泥によって建造され ています。後年、牛糞が壁 の仕上塗りに用いられるよ うになりました。泥の次に 入手し易い建築材料は石で 、そのため組積造の住宅が 一般的です These house are mostly found in the urban area where most of the middle class reside. The family unit is normally be a nuclear type in the present generation, however, the generation before had extended family type. Present houses are 3 LDK type and one story type. こうした住宅のほとんどは 、都市部の中間富裕層の居 住エリアに見られるもので す。現代の世代では核家族 化が進んでいますが、以前 は大家族が普通でした。3 LDK で、平屋の住宅の例を 示します。 Kenyan architecture language is mainly round figures. Modern cities in the city sometime mimic the traditional round shaped that house. The representative example is the KICC in the heat of the city. The project is called R a i n b o w P r o j e c t because, like a rainbow, there is a colorful bridge between the two countries. ' T o k y o H o u s e i n N a i r o b i ' is one of our concepts we are trying to do in Rainbow Project. 'Tokyo House' is a place where Kenya and Japan will find potentialities of each other. For example, it is a model house where you can have real experience about Japanese high technologies of solar energy in Japanese-style space organizations featuring natural lighting and ventilation ---- that is 'Tokyo House'. By opening such model houses in Nairobi, Rainbow Project is aiming to produce various communications in technologies and in human network between Kenya and Japan. 坂田 坂田 ケニア 共和国 世界の家・街並み Republic of Kenya Kenya is a 47 year old nation.
