The prestigious awards, given by the Australian Chinese Youth Federation (ACYF), recognise the achievements of the top ten outstanding Australian-Chinese youth each year.

Martin Li was awarded the Golden Wattle for his extraordinary contribution to the Chinese language media and Australian-Chinese multicultural society.

Serving as a broadcaster and journalist for SBS Radios Mandarin program over the past decade, Martin has contributed much in building a bridge linking mainstream society with the Chinese community in Australia.
