WHAT I WILL NEVER FORGET.By Trenz PrucaThe J4J team on the last

night was asked this question. What is the one thing you will never forget about this trip ?

The group was quiet and still as you could see each person moving through the week in their mind as they would pick one thing then shake their head and then pick another.

“One thing” Sterlyng started off with, “Well if I have to pick just one thing it would have to be the fact that I shared my faith with someone else for the very first time in my life. I never forget what it was like to help lead someone into knowing Christ as their Lord.”

The Room went round and round as each person in the group shared about the Orphanage and the infirmary. Shannon said. “I’ll never forget the little girl at the infirmary, that held my hand and want me to just hold her. Hearing her voice singing in my ear as we sang the worship songs to everyone there. I never forget how much love she showed despite the place that she was in.

The time went by in a blink as each person shared with the group story after story about what they would never forget.

Change. That’s what four guys from Springfield, Missouri are working toward. Change in the music industry, change in the way people view music, but also change in the lives of people they come into contact with around the world. The Radiance Effect is a band that doesn’t attempt to copy its influences, but rather combine them into something greater. From the introspective, personal lyrics coupled with dynamic, but aggressive vocals, to the searing lead guitar and air-tight rhythm section, this is a band that is more than just the sum of its parts. They believe that society as a whole has left a negative impact on the youth of today, and that it’s up to individuals that are willing to speak out to change things for the better. Showing their faith instead of preaching from the stage, The Radiance Effect seeks to offer people a new perspective on life in their efforts to make a positive influence in our culture. Their music is just a means to open doors that allow them to truly be friends with thousands of people around the world. Change is coming.
