1. Additional Requests:a. MOVE PTSO MEETING FROM 11:30 to 12:00 => 11:00 TO 12:00. This

would allow for Elementary teachers to join in if they wish.As the current schedule was voted for at the beginning of the year VAL will send a vote request to all parents, as well as find out if this would allow MS&HS teachers to join.

b. MOVE 2 WORKING CUBICLES TO THE PTSO ROOM. The Teacher’s lounge have ow two cubicles used by staff members that take a lot of space and make the lounge uncomfortable. A proposal was to move them to the pTSO room.IT WAS AGREED that VAL will consult the Administration as the room was lended by Admin to the PTSO and used for other purposes (not PTSO owned) AND that Ms. Sterr will share measurements of the cubicles to understand how the space will be affected.

Additional notes to the meeting

Regarding Family Fun Day:VAL volunteered to be main coordinator but asked if due to her role at the school any parents would prefer someone else did it. Parents did not think this mattered.

● Make it Carnival theme● Have BBQ but also Korean corner food● Add korean traditional games corner● Some game ideas: (cans with big bags, cupcake walk,

basketball shootout, balloon pop stand, fish tank with goldfish price, cotton candy, pop corn)

● Have the top three Talent show groups perform during family day

● Move garage sale to the cafeteria● Bubble game like last year● BBQ manned by husbands like last year● Create a dance floor for the older students● Parents think the slide is better than the bounce castle as

it can be used by more different age students.

=> If we draft a letter asking for volunteers the young sailors who need volunteer hours would live to help out. VAL to draft one and ask Mr. Macfarlane to sign it.

=> VAL will send sign up genius for parents to start volunteering and thinking which activities to lead.

NEXT MEETING WILL BE ON APRIL 5TH (Time TBD depending on survey).
