Bulgari Hotel, Milan

Situated in a tastefully-renovated 18th-century palazzo, Antonio

Citterio designed the Bulgari Hotel Milan with modern, timeless

luxury. Behind its 1930s-style stucco façade lies a delightful and

unexpected 4,000-square-yard private garden. Citterio used

marble, stone, teak and oak — and products from his collection

for Axor. The toilet is separate from the wellness area, which is

flooded with natural light. The discrete luxury of Axor Citterio is

revealed only at second glance: reflective surfaces, the luminosity

of corners and edges, and the perfect harmony of forms, creating

an elegant and timeless bathroom design.

Axor Starck X

The SLS Hotel at Beverly Hills luxury hotel was designed

by Philippe Starck, who is credited with single -handedly

reinventing every aspect of the hotel experience in the 1990s

and driving the “boutique hotel” movement. Starck’s magic

design touch appears everywhere in the 297-room property,

including the bath. Axor Starck showers and Axor Starck X

faucets were selected for the elegant guest bathrooms and

Axor Starck tub fillers are prominently featured in the hotel’s

state -of- the -art Ciel Spa.

Acclaimed designer Dianna Wong transformed the former

Hotel Washington into DC’s first W location, infusing the

historic Beaux Arts architecture with a modern aesthetic. The

location, steps from the White House, inspired Wong: “There

is interplay between history and fashion, classic and sleek,

monumental and sublime. There is a delicate balance between

restraint and sensuality. The Axor Massaud sinks, faucets

and tub filler were selected for the exclusive Wow Suite bath

because their modern yet sensual forms perfectly conveys our

design theme.”

Barcelona, impulsive and stylish, is reflected perfectly in the

Mandarin Oriental. Located on a magnificent boulevard just

minutes from the Ramblas, the architecture is impressively

modern. Formerly a bank, this splendid 1950s building on

the Passeig de Gràcia was completely renovated — the roof

terrace even boasts a narrow pool. The 98 rooms and suites,

and hallways and restaurants, fuse stylish charm with exciting

design. Responsible is the renowned Spanish designer Patricia

Urquiola, who selected bath fixtures from her Axor collection:

the fresh, unusual shape complements the other minimalist

objects and the intimate feel of the room.

goes beyond the casinos of the nearby strip. With nine meeting

rooms and 4,552 square feet of total meeting space, Spring

Hill Suites understands the importance of doing business.

This is echoed by their commitment to reduce energy and

water use 25% by 2017, thanks in part to the Hansgrohe

offers world-class amenities such as championship golf, a

Visitors enjoy southern hospitality and the beauty of a French

countryside. Catering to business travelers and pleasure

seekers, this luxury hotel offers 275 guest rooms, all featuring

a Hansgrohe Croma showerhead. The newly-renovated

spa and hotel rooms by Design Directions International

of Mariet ta, GA create a contemporary atmosphere

Opening its doors in 2008 with a ceremony presided over by

Queen Elizabeth II, Terminal 5 at London’s Heathrow Airport

has quickly become one of the world’s premier international

airline travel hubs. Catering to more than 35 million travelers

every year, Terminal 5 is also the United Kingdom’s largest

freestanding building, with over 65,000 square feet devoted to

executive “Galleries” lounges. In creating these spaces, London

based designers David Davies and Stuart Baron wanted to

complement the building’s modern aesthetic while maintaining

the comfortable elegance for which British Airways is known.

A departure from conventional architecture, this volcano-

shaped, multi -purpose stadium blends seamlessly into the

landscape. Jean-Marie Massaud designed the stadium as one

with the environment: Its 8,000 parking spaces are hidden

beneath the stadium, the lightweight roof floats above like a

cloud. The 45,000-seat structure is an important public space,

featuring children’s play areas, beauty salons, a climbing wall,

roller blade track — and is surrounded by a grassy hill that

also functions as a public park. The full effect of the stadium as

a living volcano will mature over the next two years, as both

grass and trees continue to grow.

One of the leading pediatric hospitals in the country,

Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta’s new facility in Metro Atlanta

offers sports medicine, specialty physician care, X-ray and

laboratory services. Their selection of Hansgrohe and Axor

fit tings for this new treatment center shows not only their

commitment to providing top medical care, but also to

creating a comfortable, aesthetically-pleasing environment.

Axor Montreux faucets were selected for each of the 47 exam

rooms, 11 restrooms, and several other multi -use areas of

the new building — for their superior quality as well as water

savings. The solid brass components will stand up to heavy use

while retaining a classic look and feel. Talis S Kitchen Faucets

were selected for staff breakrooms as well as washing stations.

Conservation and luxury coexist at The Residences at

Mandarin Oriental, Las Vegas — a sophisticated sanctuary

of modern elegance. Part of the CityCenter development in

Las Vegas, a showcase of sustainable design, the residences

are the first in the prestigious Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group

to receive the LEED Gold rating. Project leader Kay Lang

envisioned a Zen- like atmosphere with a touch of haute couture

in the 550,000 square foot, 23-story edifice. The 228 units

combine luxury with sustainability, beauty and timelessness.

Axor Starck perfectly complements the clean lines of the

building’s exterior and the chic modern Asian theme.

Aqua Building, Chicago

The tallest skyscraper designed by a female architect, Aqua is

an 82-story mixed-use residential building topped by gardens,

pools, hot tubs, a walking/running track and fire pit. Water —

including nearby Lake Michigan — was the inspiration behind

Aqua’s iconic undulating façade. For the water inside, Axor

and Hansgrohe fixtures were selected for a number of the units,

including the penthouses. The avant-garde quality of the Axor

Cit terio collection and the simple sophistication of Hansgrohe’s

Talis S and Metris S collections enhance the tower’s reputation

as a high-design, world-class establishment.

Brooklyn Bridge Park, this 449-unit condo development

provides a one of a kind home for sophisticated New Yorkers.

Amenities include a 3,000-square-foot gym, screening room,

24-hour concierge, putting green, yoga room, and many more.

All the units feature luxurious bathrooms with the refined design

When EDMONDS + LEE ARCHITECTS remodeled a lof t in

San Francisco’s Oriental Warehouse, a block- long 1867

landmark, they understood the challenge of revitalizing such an

important space. Robert Edmonds, a founder and principal of

the firm, gave the duplex a 21st -century design lif t, adding new

elements, yet retaining the original patinaed timber beams and

weathered brick walls — creating a comfortable, stylish

living space showcasing the owner’s vast art collection.

The architectural firm created a luxurious bath oasis with

Axor Uno and Axor Starck X. A large Raindance Royale

showerhead adds drama to the spacious shower,

completing this high-design bath.

When renovating the Oneida Point Residence, interior

designer and architectural author Karin H. Edwards drew

on her professional background to deftly furnish a master

suite and guest bath. Her vision called for a crisp, clean

aesthetic and luxurious materials including custom walnut

paneling, Italian porcelain and mosaic tile, and sleek chrome

fixtures. The master bath features Axor Cit terio for the faucet,

showerpipe, showerhead and bodysprays. The guest bath

includes a Hansgrohe Raindance Showerpipe and Axor Starck

faucets and fixtures. Duravit’s Happy D sink and Starck toilet

complement this refined residential set ting.

spacious residences, boasts private pools and spas and offers

the ultimate in relaxed California living. Cool - toned and soft -

edged bath fit tings, including faucets and a complete shower

and Raindance E lines were specified in the bathrooms and

complement the modern, streamlined décor. Products include

the ADA-compliant, low-flow, PuraVida Single -Hole faucet,

with coordinating wallbar and thermostatic trim — all in a fresh

at 30 knots in 5-foot seas. Axor Starck X was chosen for

the yacht’s master bath and washrooms. With its superior lines
