Tense คอรปแบบ(หรอโครงสราง)ของกรยา ทแสดงความสมพนธระหวางการกระท ากบเวลาเพอบอกใหรวาเหตการณนนๆเกดขนหรอยง หรอก าลงเกดขน หรอจะเกดขนในอนาคต

She goes to school everyday.

He went to school yesterday.

tense ในภาษาองกฤษนจะแบง ออกเปน 3 tense ใหญๆคอ1. Present tense ปจจบน2. Past tense อดตกาล3. Future tense อนาคตกาล

ในแตละ tense ยงแยกยอยได tense ละ 4 คอ1 . Simple tense ธรรมดา(งายๆตรงๆไมซบซอน).2. Continuous tense ก าลงกระท าอย(ก าลงเกดอย)3. Perfect tense สมบรณ(ท าเรยบรอยแลว).4. Perfect continuous tense สมบรณก าลงกระท า(ท าเรยบรอยแลวและก าลง

ด าเนนอยดวย).

ใชเพอบอกความจรงทเกดขนในปจจบน หรอเหตการณทเกดขนเปนประจ าทกวน

Present Simple Tense (Tense ปจจบนธรรมดา)+ V1 (ประธานเอกพจน กรยาเตม s,es)ประธาน + กรยาชองท 1 (ถาประธานเปนเอกพจน กรยาตองเตม s หรอ es แลวแตกรณ)S + กรยาชวย + V1ประธาน + กรยาชวย + กรยาชองท 1 (ไมตองเตม s ทกกรณ)กรยาชวยทใชบอยคอ can, should, must

ใชเพอบอกเลาถงสงทก าลงท าอย ณ ขณะทพด และใชบอกการกระท าทท าอยางตอเนองในชวงเวลาน (ปน, เดอนน) หรอบอกสงทก าลงจะเกดขนเรวว ๆ นกวดด โครงสรางไวยากรณ: S + is, am, are + V .ing

ใชเพอบอกเลาถงเหตการณทเกดขนในอดต ตอเนองมาจนถงปจจบน และจะใช since, for รวมดวยเสมอ หรอบอกเลาถงสงทเพงจะจบลงหมาด ๆ โครงสรางไวยากรณ: S + have, has +V3

Has Tom been living in Thailand since 2000?

Tom has been living in Thailand since 2000.

Tom has not been living in Thailand since 2000.

หรอใชเพอบอกเลาเหตการณทเกดขนไมพรอมกนในอดต โดยจะใช Past Perfect Tense กบเหตการณทเกดกอนเสมอ สวนเหตการณทเกดขนทหลงใช Past Simple Tense โครงสรางไวยากรณ: S + had +V3

Past Perfect Continuous Tense ใชเพอบอกเลาถงเหตการณทเกดขนอยางตอเนองในชวงเวลาหนงในอดต และไดสนสดลงแลว เรยกวามหลกการใชเหมอนกบ Past Perfect Tense เพยงแตเนนถงความตอเนองชดเจนขน โครงสรางไวยากรณ: S + had been + V .ng

Had you been waiting for the train for three hours before it arrived at the

station?

I had been waiting for the train for three hours before it arrived at the station.

I hadn’t been waiting for the train for three hours before it arrived at the station. I had

ใชเพอบอกเลาถงสงทก าลงเกดขนอยางแนนอนในชวงเวลาหนงในอนาคต และใชกบเหตการณหนงในอนาคตทจะเกดขน กอนทอกหนงเหตการณจะเกดตามมา โครงสรางไวยากรณ: S + will be + V.ing

Will you have eaten rice when I arrive?

I will have eaten rice when you arrive. I will not have eaten rice when you arrive.

ใชเพอบอกเลาถงเหตการณทจะเกดขนในชวงเวลาหนงในอนาคต และกจะด าเนนตอไปอกหลงจากนน หรอใชเหมอนกบ Future Perfect Tense แตเนนความตอเนองของการกระท าหนงในอนาคต

โครงสรางไวยากรณ: S + will/shall + have been + V.ing
