URBAN PLANNING, GARBAGE

COLLECTION ANDPUBLIC WORKS

We want a clean town, with high quality services that areefficient and policies that facilitate access to housing, so:

· We will urgently the auction garbage collection service andstreet cleaning as well as the maintenance of the public parks ofthe municipality.

· We will implement the program "Clean people" that will includewaste collection, recycling, civic awareness, maintenance thecommon areas clean and eliminatingcanine stool.

· We will improve the paving of all streets in poor condition themunicipality, giving priority to those that are in a worse condition.

· We will build a multipurpose room that accommodates plays,concerts, lectures and other cultural and leisure activities.

· We will install a skating rink where our children can develop abooming sport safely.

· We will promote an agreement "Infovivienda" between theCouncil and the Department of Public Works and Housing toensure legal advice to those interested in subsidized rents.

· We will join the towns´ network of smart cities and help toestablish measures of self-sufficiency for the people self-sufficientenergy level.

Social policies should be a priority for public managers. It isessential to help residents to make life easier, so:

· We will return to the "Women Project" for the creation of acooperative to give jobs to long-term unemployed women of thetown.

· We will continue promoting and increasing social policies andaid to the citizens of Dolores.

· In terms of solidarity we will continue working with andsupporting the Cancer Society, Caritas and any other non profitorganization.

· We will provide legal advice particularly to women on genderviolence as well as the expatriates on the Spanish legal system.

· We will create the "Health Week" as a means to inform healthyhabits and disseminate tips for good nutrition.

· We will conduct seminars for healthy lifestyles in schools and forretired people.

· We will promote the realization of training courses on first aid,basic care of children and the elderly, sexual education and theprevention of drug addiction.

HEALTH AND SENIOR

ADMINISTRATION, PERSONNEL

AND TRANSPARENCY

A municipality must be efficient, transparent and provideinformation to all the neighbors on the way everyone's money isspent, why:

· Publish on the website of the City of expenses, the state budget,agreements, awards, etc. to be displayed to the citizens easilyand free of charge.

· We will facilitate the participation of citizens in thedevelopment of budgeting or decision making in mattersaffecting the society by launching a line of WhatsApp.

· We will continue to work on the realization of a list of tasks ofemployees of the Town Hall to optimize the use of their timeand abilities.

· We will provide the free service available through theDiputaación of Alicante, "MunicipApp", so Dolores citizens willhave a direct line to our City Council through the phone ortablet.

· We will open the City Hall one afternoon a week to facilitateaccess of citizens to the services provided.

· We will create a community and extra-care office to facilitateprocedures and formalities.

The crisis has made the municipalities learn the lesson andprioritize public spending. During the three years of the PPgovernment, the ayuntamiento of Dolores has been running bigsurpluses (of a total of more than 3 million euros) lowering ourdebt while cutting taxes such as the IBI to the minimum legal rate.Our targets are:

· We will reduce debt levels to achieve zero debt.

· We want Dolores taxes to be among the lowest in the provinceand we will actively work on it.

· We will promote businesses by lowering taxes, and increaserevenue by attracting more businesses to Dolores.

· We will negotiate with suppliers to optimize running costs.

One of the issues that must be improved is public safety and thepresence of the police to feel safer, so:

· We will implement a program to prevent vandalism andprotection to citizens.

· We will create a park to educate children on road safety.

· To prevent accidents and abuses we will improve crosswalks,reviewing the painting and placing vertical signals in the busieststreets. In addition, we will renew the LEDs lights and repair trafficlights that are in disrepair.

TRAFFIC AND PUBLIC SAFETY

EMPLOYMENT AND

DEVELOPMENTS

One of the most important concerns for Spanish people is to findjobs, and this is also a major concern for us.Therefore:

· We will offer legal advice and a 50% bonus on theadministrative costs for small enterprises and autonomousworkers that choose to establish themselves in Dolores.

· We will work on active policies to attract companies to establishin the municipality with the main commitment of offering jobsto Dolores residents.

· We will create a business incubator in which entrepreneurs canstart his career in a common space in which they can developany work activity.

· We will continue developing and strengthening, through furthertraining and aid programs such as training and dual nationaland international professional training.

· After getting trained more than 800 people in the town, wewill continue working on providing training courses of generalinterest.

· We will recover the efforts to implement the module ServiceSocio Cultural Center.

· We will create a prize for the entrepreneur who, on the onehand, rewards the best Dolores entrepreneurial idea and,secondly, to the small enterprise which creates more netemployment over the previous year.

·We will provide businesses and entrepreneurs Dolores advice onexport markets, which is a current engine of economic growth,through orientation courses.

We want a sustainable village with greenery quality thatenhances gardening and agriculture, so:

· We will improve the condition of existing parks and finalizethose which are still incomplete.

· We will develop a playground in the park of the Museum of theHuerta with picnic tables and everything needed to enjoy aservice family entertainment.

· We will advise on the use of European funds by our farmersand we will support farmers and associations of young farmers.

· In connection with our proximity to the Hondo will implementthe project Natural Parks.

ENVIRONMENT, AGRICULTURE

AND PARKS AND GARDENS

· We will promote local trade in collaboration withthe Association of ASEMDOLORES entrepreneurssupporting existing trade fairs and creating newones.

EDUCATION, YOUTH AND

SPORTS

Dolores need measures to improve the quality of educationservices and to facilitate access to learning. Furthermore, sportactivities are key for our youth, and the town should have a widerange of services.

· We will work with the AMPAS of the town schools to get booksfree of charge for the families of Dolores.

· We will promote existing agreements with the EducationDepartment to improve our schools.

· We will strengthen the agreements signed with the UMH(Miguel Hernández University) and negotiate the possibility of apermanently based university section in Dolores.

· We will expand the time schedule of the Municipal Libraryexams seasons.

· To improve the work-life balance, we will increase the hours ofservice offered by the Municipal Nursery School.

· We will strengthen the Summer School as a recreational-educational measure for children looking for further trainingduring the summer.

· We will support through grants schools and sports associationsof various sectors to facilitate access to citizens.

· We will create a fitness area outdoors at the Municipal Park "LaAlameda "with exercise machines for people of all ages.

· We will subsidize through grants and scholarships to outstandingathletes of Dolores.

· The Municipal Sports Pavilion is the flagship building of sportsin this town, so it is necessary to fix the elements in disrepair, asthe track or furniture. Moreover, its image will improve and twotennis minivolley fields would be incorporated.

· We will create an annual calendar of sports activities to promotelocal sports.

· The football pitch 7 Park "La Alameda" will be adapted withartificial lawn.

CULTURE, TOURISM AND

HOLIDAYS

People without traditions, leisure and culture promotion areforgotten people. We want Dolores to be a prestigious brandthat offers activities for all neighbors, so:

· We will continue celebrating and promoting traditionalholidays such as Christmas, Carnival, San Pascual, Cattle Fair(with the support of Cattlemen's Association), Peñas festivity,Halloween, St. Anton, etc...

· We will make a cultural program through a quarterly culturalagenda to choose theater plays, lectures, performances music,cinema for children and adults, exhibitions, etc.

· We will create the Book Day holiday with literary competitions,the reading of great works of Spanish literature, poetry reading,etc.

· We will create a Cultural Board where room cultural societiesand people linked to culture will have the opportunity to designthe activities and events for this sector.

· We will request the Declaration of Local Tourist Interest of theDolores Semana Santa with the aim of achieving the nationaltourist level.

· We will work together with the owners of bars, restaurants andcafes to create an aesthetic standard for the town terraces.

· We will implement an Intercultural Fair to get together Doloresneighbors of every nationality.

· We will provide the best support we can give to all culturalsocieties of our municipality, providing them financial support, aroom with optimal conditions and with enough space for theiractivities singing, dance, theater, music, etc.
