As of June 2009 all America’s Test Centers delivering the CPA Exam have been upgraded to LCD Monitors!

Benefits of LCD Monitors: •  An overall better quality display for

our Candidates.

•  Eliminates possibility of “screen flickering” complaints.

•  More space is now available on the testing work-area to provide more room for scratch paper.

•  More modern state-of-the-art look to Test Centers.

Improving the Candidate Experience: Update on Flat Screen Monitor Deployment

NEW! Prometric has now added Google Maps to the Scheduling Website.

• Candidates are able to locate Test Centers by searching on:

–  State

–  City, State

–  Zip Code

–  Specific Address

• The closest Test Centers are displayed regardless of the State or Country.

• Candidates are able to configure the distance from as close as 25 miles to as far as 400 miles.

Improving the Candidate Experience: Google Maps


Improving the Candidate Experience: New Seat Availability Tool •  Candidates are now able go to www.prometric.com to search for available test seats without entering their NTS number

•  Eliminates the need to call Prometric to check date and time availability of test seats

•  The tool is intuitive and resides within Prometric’s existing scheduling and registration system


•  Upgraded highest volume domestic sites and international sites in high risk areas over last 2 years, currently in 150 labs. Plan to upgrade 40-50 more labs in 2009.

•  Provide high resolution color video, archived to hard drive of DVR. Video archived for 120 days.

•  Cameras & microphones in proctor room as well as test room.

•  Video/audio evidence burned to CD instead of VHS tape.

•  Prometric HQ & Channel Managers have remote viewing capability.
