形容词的比较级

形容词的比较级

1. 含义：表示两者 ( 人或事物 ) 的

比较。

2. 用于：比较级 +than的句子中

3. 翻译：“更…… .”

形容词比较级的变化规则

(1) 一般在词尾 +er:

strong—stronger( 更强壮的 )

(2) 以字母 e 结尾的单词， +r:

nice( 好的 )—nicer( 更好的 )

(3) 闭音节单词 ( 一个元音字母+ 一个辅音字母结尾的单词）变比较级时要双写辅音字母，

再 +er: big—bigger( 更大的 )

hot---hotter( 更热的 ) thin---thinner( 更瘦的）

(4) 辅音字母 +y 字母结尾的单词，变比较级时把 y 变 i, 再加 er:

happy----happier( 更高兴的、更幸福的 )

heavy----heavier ( 更重的 )

funny----funnier ( 更滑稽好笑的 )

(5) 多音节的形容词变比较级时，在单词前面加 more:

beautiful----more beautiful( 更漂亮的 )

difficult----more difficult( 更难的 )

interesting--- more interesting( 更有趣的 )
