Hosted by the Parl iament of New Zealand Well ington, New Zealand, 26-‐27 August 2015
Meeting objectives The objectives of the meeting are threefold:
1. Share knowledge and practice on financial oversight in the Pacific region 2. Further develop a strategic vision for the proposed Pacific PAC network and the conditions for
its success 3. Explore how PACs and development partners can support key aspects of the vision
Venue: Parliament of New Zealand Dress code: Business attire Participation Meeting participants include:
• Members of Parliament from Pacific parliaments responsible for ex post financial oversight • Committee clerks and secretariat representatives from Pacific parliaments responsible for supporting parliaments’ ex post financial oversight function
• Representatives from the external audit community, such as Auditors-‐General offices • Development partner representatives

• Outline what have we learned from parliamentary knowledge sharing experiences in the Pacific so far and present parliamentary strengthening initiatives
• Describe and discuss the value creation framework as a visioning, planning, and monitoring tool for developing a Pacific PAC Network
