In recent ten years, a large number of scientific studies have shown that more than 90% of the outside

information achieved by human eye has derived from the outline cognition. Photoreceptor cell of human visual

system is mainly located in the nerve cell receptive field on retina. These nerve cell receptive fields have

direction and lateral rejection characteristic.

Derived from perception mechanism of human visual,The Rapier AOI calculated by today's most advanced

biological vision algorithm mechanism in machine vision field to simulate the algorithm of human eye

perception for closed contour detection to obtain the circuit contour information on PCB and build detection

logic on the basis of contour.

For more than 10 years of experience accumulation in industry, we see a lot of PCB with local distortion or

difficult to use vacuum suction produced by the customers especially the most small and medium-sized

enterprises. It results in bad matchups and many false points.

The Rapier AOI industry exclusively launches the counterpoint mode aimed at plate deformation, fin and so

on to reduce the false points caused by surface deformation and warping.

The whole plate is divided into important areas and unimportant area. Important areas are corresponding to

the tiny lines and its surrounding area such as the following figure. Taking different judgment standards for

important areas and unimportant area, it can make sure the less false points under the condition of no leakage.

According to set value, the line on both sides are set as important

area. Important area is set to 3 mil, for example, 3 mil line on both

sides are set as important areas. Beyond 3 mil is unimportant area.

At the corner of straight line, because of the sharp corner of some CAM data while actual line corner is

smoother than o CAM data corner relatively and easy to fake. For if we do not detect the corner, it will easy to

appear gaps, convex copper leakage in the corner.

The Rapier AOI makes arrangement analysis for linear corner and introduces unique detection logic to avoid

producing false points.

Set corner properties on the joint between lines according to the set of

pixel units to reduce the false points.

Set the bound according to line width percentage. When

beyond the bound, it is the imperfection.

The distance between two lines should not less than the

smallest distance.

The actual version line is not consistent with standard

line. It takes effect for all properties. The defects are

judged if it is greater than the set value

In important areas, the other overproof standard values are set

to ensure the tiny defect detection in important areas. At mean

time, resist the false points in important are.

Holes on the surface of the copper. Take the diameter as
