Kick Off

Dear Sunnyland Families,

Here we are headed into December already! For many, this time of year is associat-

ed with family celebrations and long-held traditions. While these events can be expe-

rienced as loving and supportive, the excitement of the holidays can be stressful for

children and their families. During this time, taking care of yourself is as important

as thinking of others. Hopefully you can all find a little time to rejuvenate yourself

through this busy time of year.

Thank you for attending our annual Parent Teacher Conferences. We appreciate the

care and effort you take in approaching your partnership with the Sunnyland staff for

the benefit of your child.

Now that the winter months are upon us, please be sure your child is dressed appro-

priately for cold weather. We like to have your child outside getting fresh air if possi-

ble. If you need assistance with cold weather gear for your child, please contact our

school counselor, Kari Miller, at 360-676-6446 or [email protected].

If, or perhaps when, winter weather occurs it is important to be up to date with in-

formation. Please see the following webpage for Weather Procedures and Snow

Routes.

Schools are closed for the holidays from December 18,2017 - January 1, 2018. We’ll
