001  -­‐  Ellen  Kingfisher  of  Tahlequah  is  a  participate  in  Student  Support  Services;  is  making  posters  for  TRIO  day  at  the  state  capitol  tomorrow.

003  -­‐  Mayor-­‐Elect  Albert  Jones,  in  background,  and  Josh  Bogle,  campaign  manager,  discussing  how  to  gather  more  votes  for  the  upcoming  race  in  Wagoner,  Oklahoma,  April  14th.      Jones  is  a  Wagoner  alum.    Bogle  graduated  from  Thuderbird  Academy  but  resides  in  Wagoner.

     006  -­‐  Icey  sidewalks  are  putting  students  and  faculty  at  risk  for  injury.          

007  -­‐  Karen  York,  curator  of  the  Sherwin  Miller  Museum  of  Jewish  Art  in  Tulsa,  addresses  the  audience  at  the  Ancient  Ways:    Modern  Forms  reception.    The  show  explores  the  related  experiences  in  Native  American  and  Jewish  Cultures  and  is  open  to  the  public  until  April  2,  2015.      

   008  -­‐  Students  celebrate  Black  History  Month.  Everyone  is  encouraged  to  wright  what  they  see  for  the  future.        

009  -­‐  Bobbisox  of  Westville,  Oklahoma  is  now  open.  Bobbisox  will  host  karaoke  events  and  a  Country  Night,  once  a  week.  "This  resturant  will  be  a  great  asset  to  our  community  and  help  bring  in  revenue  for  the  town  of  Westville,"  Tony  Barker,  Mayor,  Westville.      

   010  -­‐  NSU  students  fight  the  cold,  as  they  walk  through  ice  and  snow  to  get  to  class.              

011  –  Cherokee  Nation  translator  Dennis  Sixkiller  of  Tahlequah  works  with  attendee's  of  the  Cherokee  Nation  Speaker's  Bureau  to  come  up  with  a  translation  for  the  word  camouflage  in  Cherokee.    The  group  of  approximately  50  Cherokee  speakers  meet  at  the  ᏣᎳᎩ  Community  Room  the  second  Thursday  of  each  month  and  translate  roughly  30  words  that  previously  did  not  exist  in  the  Cherokee  language.    

   012  -­‐  Katy  Hosokawa,  Azle  TX  Senior,  and  boyfriend  TJ  Hathcock,  NSU  graduate,  begin  the  Sweetheart  5k  held  in  Tulsa  on  Febrary  14,  2015.

014  -­‐  Jones  and  Bogle  discuss  repainting  the  Antiques  signage  on  the  wall  coming  into  downtown  Wagoner.    The  sign  hasn't  been  used  in  over  20  years.    Jones  has  plans  to  repaint  it  again  after  the  runoff  for  mayor  has  ended  to  reflect  the  downtown  area.        

015  -­‐  Fifty  Shades  of  Grey  hit  the  big  screens  this  Valentine's  Day  weekend,  making  83  million  dollars,  across  the  U.S.  This  film  is  currently  playing  at  Green  Country  Cinema,  Tahlequah.  Pre-­‐ordering  tickets  online  is  highly  recommended.        

   016  -­‐  Steven  Ory  crosses  the  finish  line  as  the  first  place  winner  of  the  Sweetheart  Run  5k  held  in  Tulsa  on  February  14,  2015.
