This performance limits the let-through energy, providing enhanced protection for downstream components. These 22.5 and 30.5 mm push buttons represent an innovative rethinking of push button technology and its industrial applications. They use a potted piezoelectric circuit in an SAE grade 316 stainless-steel body and achieve an IP69K rating. The piezoelectric circuit detects pressure on the surface of the button to provide a momentary actuation signal with no moving parts. A smooth, crevice-free button surface is the result. The Bulletin 2198 Encoder Output Module synchronizes devices to your integrated motion on EtherNet/IP™ system. The device simplifies machine building by removing the need to mount external encoders on the machine and by using the same Studio 5000 Logix Designer® software as the rest of the control system. Reduced wiring increases reliability by removing the need to split encoder signals between the motor and drive. The module also increases machine design flexibility. It can sync to any axis of motion (integrated motion over EtherNet/IP or virtual) within the system. Additionally, the devices output can be configured for either quadrature or pulse train for additional design flexibility. SST™ Modbus solutions from Molex are setting the standard for features/benefits and cost efficiency. Both Modbus serial and Modbus Ethernet TCP protocols are supported with a single module providing a “two for the price of one” solution. The module has two Modbus serial master or slave configurable ports and one client/server Modbus Ethernet TCP port. With two configuration modes, data can be transferred between the Modbus network and the processor either directly to the I/O table corresponding to the slot of the module or with an AOI can be transferred to tags in the processor’s memory. Direct configuration has a 496 word database. Paging configuration can be up to a 32,000 word database. A dynamic graphical software interface is used for programming cyclic functions for ease of use and to help reduce commissioning time. The Mean Time Before Failure (MTBF) of 181 years as calculated by Telcordia indicates it’s reliability.
