Course Content
NEBOSH Internaonal General Cerficate is a globally recognized health and safety qualificaon intended for companies or individuals working to internaonal standards with regards to Health, Safety & Environment. This course focuses on the Internaon-al Labor Standards (ILO) codes of pracce. Upon successful compleon of the cerficate, delegates can apply for a membership with Instuon of Occupaonal Safety and Health (IOSH) and/or Internaonal Instute of Risk and Safety Manage-ment (IIRSM) as its qualificaon meets the academic requirements for Technician MembeMembership (Tech IOSH) of IOSH and Associate membership (AIIRSM) of the IIRSM.
This course is suitable for individuals who aspire to gain health & safety knowledge on how to manage risks and hazards in any area of any business. It is also parcularly suitable for individuals who are interested to embark on a career in the Health, Safety
The syllabus is divided into 3 units, (1) Management of Internaonal Health and Safety; (2) Control of Internaonal Workplace Hazards; and (3) Internaonal Health and Safety Praccal Applicaon. Each of the first two units is further divided into a number of elements. There are 13 elements which cover a range of workplace hazards and methods of control and are as follows:

Course Duraon and AssessmentThe training is spread over 10 days plus 1 day for examinaons. There will be wrien examinaons which constutes paper 1 (Management of Internaonal Health and Safety) and paper 2 (Control of Internaonal Workplace Hazards), each lasng 2 hours. Parcipants must achieve the minimum pass standard in all examinaons and assessment to be awarded the NEBOSH Internaonal General Cerficate in
