Tips For Keeping Healthy During HazeAvoid exposure: Stay indoors as much as you can and keep the windowsand doors closed. Use air conditioners and air purifiers where possible.
Wear a respiratory mask: If you have an existing heart or respiratory ailment, NationalEnvironmental Agency (NEA) advises you to wear a respiratory mask (e.g. N95) whenoutdoors.
Alleviate the symptoms topically: Haze often irritates the nose, throat, airways, skinand eyes. Saline solutions will help to wash away haze particles in the eyes. You mayrequire simple cough tablets or mixtures to help with the symptoms.
Eat nutritious food: Boost immunity power by eating superfoods with Vitamin A, C andE. They help protect your eyes and shield the lungs from air pollution.
Drink lots of water: The toxins found in the haze can be absorbed by your skin andlungs. Keep your body hydrated so that your body can excrete the toxins well.
