Between the flickering of city lights and everyday faces, Schirmer plays with these ele- ments and combines them to the expression of his subjects. André Schirmer currently works as a designer, graphic illustrator, and painting artist. He began his artistic career in 1967 after stu- dying at the École des Beaux Arts in montreal. While at the Beaux arts, Schirmer focused on landscape painting, and worked with live models while studying the human body.
