Super Capacitor Tram is the combination of 100% low-floor Tram

and Super capacitor technology .

100% low-floor tram is a mature technical platform, widely used in

many cities in the world.

The prototype of CSR’s super capacitor tram have been rolled out

in China this April, and will be putting into commercial operation in

October 2014.

The catenary-free tram adopts super capacitor as energy

storage unit, which realized wireless operation.

High energy recycle. Green and environmental.

The charging system is located in station, the maximum

voltage is DC900V. The train is using passive electric

collector no manual operation required.

The charging process will be finished during passengers on

and off board.

The tram adopts 4 modules: 3 M + 1 T.

The car body structure is mainly welded by high strength stainless

steel. The material of under frame adopt carbon steel or low alloy

high strength steel.

The design strength of car body meet VDV 152 and European Norm

EN 12663:2000, "Railway applications – Structural requirements of

railway vehicle bodies", Category P-V.

Each Tram have 3 motor bogies and 1 trailer bogie.

Motor bogie is mainly comprised of structure, transmission, primary

suspension, second suspension and spring brake device etc.

The vehicle is equipped with 4 respectively independent brake system:

During braking, the braking energy can be transferred to electrical

energy and stored by capacitor.
