Background of Millia, Educational Trust t all began in 1976 when I was practicing as a successful Homoeopathic Doctor in
Purnea. I had been rendering my medical services to the wailing, moaningdestitute, poor and ailing people of Purnea, which is still considered as
economically, socially and educationally backward region of Bihar. Butin the process, I had to prolong my journey from "Medicine to Millia". Iliteracy and need of effective educationto the children grieved me too much and I realized thatto ignore this problemnof our society is to disservice to the new generation as well as the nation. I suddenlymade up my mind to break away the shackles of illiteracy at any cost, and bring about a
8reat change in the way of educating the students; mostly deprived of the education of
global standard. As amatter of fact, it was a pet dream of mine. Ihad a spark of burning desire somewhere in the nook of my heart to impart effective and purposeful education of global standard to the children. It was my cherished wish to light the torch of global education. I was immensely perturbed on account of illiteracy, poor education and inefficiency of the students to capture prestigious position anywhere. It was my dream
and the need of the hour to introduce such an education system that makes a student ready, capable and courageous to live and face the challenges. Because of this hectic stir in my mind I set out to translate my dream into a concrete reality and considered it as my social responsibility.
My first institutions called "GOOD SHEPHERD ENGLISH SCHOOL" and 'MILLIA SIR SYED PRIMARY TEACHERS TRAINING COLLEGE" were established in 1983 at Line Bazar. The school 8radually grew to its maturity as "MILLIA CONVENT ENGLISHSCHOOL" The first school was started in arental simple built house of Md. Wasim, son of Late Hasibur Rahman on Rs. 50 a month. The place is now popularly known as 'Hasib Complex". Prof. Wasim was then studying at "Aligarh Muslim University". In 1985, I established a B.Ed. College named "MILLIA FAKHRUDDIN ALI

also founded for the girls. In the year 1986 "PURNEA HIGH SCHOOL", "NATIONAL DEGREE COLLEGE", "MILLIA CAPTAIN ABDUL HAMID PHYSICAL TRAINING COLLEGE" also came into existence. Then I turned towards Technical Education and established M.I.T. (MILLIA INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY) in 1989. In 1996, I tried to establisha Dental Oollege but it was disheartening when the approval was not granted to it. However, I remained on the move and in the year 2007 with a view to extend the capacity of my convent sohool I founded another '"MILLIA CONVENT ENGLISH SCHOOL"at Kasba, 10 kms. away from Purnea town. By God's grace, on my unwavering faith and hard work, I have further decisive plan to establisha Medical College. Now it is shortly going to be declared as Deemed University for which trust has already acquired 250
acres of land. Itrust myself and God, I do feel that nothing is impossible in this world.

work of testing to verification of different devices we use these three different based labs.
There are some labs which are equipped with modern setup of instruments which gives real time value.
DEVICES Basic Electronics Lab: - This lab is especially for basic awareness of devices where students
learn about how to connect the device with C.R.O and see the result in real time of different
electronics Components.
e.g Ideal characteristics of PN junction diode, Ideal characteristics of Zener diode, Clipper and clamper and various Op-amp based results.
ii. Digital Electronics Lab: - This lab is defined how to treat the digital logic based device with their concerning results with favoring their truth table.
e.g:- Verification of basic logic gates, verification of universal gate's, verification of Mux and De-Mux and all Combinational as well as Sequential circuits.
iii. Analog Electronics Lab It is upgraded lab of basic electronics lab in this lab we give the knowledge of ac based device which works on different ac configurations simulated with Pspice and Multisim somewhere students got real time knowledge about device characteristics.
e.g-ideal characteristics of Wien bridge oscillator, ideal characteristics of op-amp and all concerninglab.
iv. Electronics Workshop:- This lab is concern to work with practical device. Communication:
i Digital Communication System:- Communication Lab contains both Analog and Digital Communication lab experiments with System lab component. ii. Fiber Optics Communication Lab: This lab is used by the students to perform practical
pertaining to the study of optical fiber communication using state of the art kits. The
department provides an in-depth knowledge on advanced optical communication. The
Optical Communication laboratory is setup to complement the topics studied in the Optical
Communication theory course. The lab is equipped with fiber optic trainer kits and modules
to enable the study of components of an optical communication system. The students
perform experiments to study the characteristics of optical sources (LED &e LD) and optical detectors (LD & APD) and optical fibers(SM & MM), Fault detection in a fiber link is studied
using the OTDR module, Free Space Optical Communication
ii. Micro wave lab - The mission of this lab is to design, analyze the characterization of RF and
Microwave components This lab is equipped to carry out basic microwave measurements,such as impedance, power, frequency, VSWR, etc., using waveguide technology. Microwave
Laboratory is meant for experiments at the instructional level for undergraduate students.
The laboratory is adequately equipped with microwave benches at J-band and Xband, which
includes Klystron tubes, Gunn diodes, Klystron power supplies, modulators, directional
couplers, various power energy and VSWR meters. The experiments conducted include S-
parameter measurements, radiation and terminal properties of horn, slot, array, reflector, strip and patch antennas, characteristics of active devices and passive components.
Micro- Processor
i. Introduction to Micro processor:- Microprocessors Laboratory specializes on the design and
implementation of 8085. Microprocessor has extensive background and experience in the fields of Hardware/Software. It has participated in numerous projects that involve the design and implementation of Data Acquisition and Processing Systems,
Telecommunication Hardware, Industrial Digital Systems, Data Encryption and Medical
Applications.ii. Introduction to Micro Controller:- Micro Controller lab consist of various type of micro
controller based trainer kit which provides different programming of data acquisition and
programming system.
Control System
The Control Systems Laboratory introduces students to the implementation of PID-controllers, and two-step controllers, to first order delay, as well as third order delay, systems using educational PID boards and DC servo boards. Experimentations and analysis use industrial standard oscilloscopes, and
data-acquisition boards interfaced via SIMULINK/MATLAB.

department offers a four years B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering. The department
