• RANURADORA HIDRÁULICA

Máquina ranuradora equipada para tubos desde 1.1/4” hasta 12” de hierro, cobre, acero inoxidable… para conducción de agua, gas, etc... Además de una compacta estructura, fácil manejo y gran eficacia de trabajo, le caracteriza el dispositivo hidráulico de ranurado, el cual hace que la ranura obtenida sea más fácil de obtener y controlar, con un menor esfuerzo y con una mayor duracion de los discos. Por lo tanto, proporciona mayor calidad, control y comodidad. Dispone de control de anchura y profundidad de ranuras adecuándolas a las medidas de la norma AWWA C606-87. Estas máquinas han sido extensamente aplicadas en industrias de instalación y construcción.

• GUIA DE UTILIZACIÓN

A) COLOCACIÓN DE LA RANURADORA

A1.- Retirar el carro de roscado de la Roscamatic-3 “COMBI” (en su caso) A2.- Introducir ambas barras de la máquina por los dos agujeros del carro de la ranuradora. A3.- Insertar el extremo del mandrino (X o Y, dependiendo del tamaño de tubo) en el plato delantero. A4.- Cerrar el plato delantero, mediante una accion de golpe del disco exterior del plato en sentido contrario a las agujas del reloj.

B) RETIRADA DE LA RANURADORA

B1.- Mediante accion de golpe del disco exterior en el sentido de las agujas del reloj, se abre el plato delantero. B2.- Se procede a extraer la ranuradora.

C) PREPARACIÓN PARA RANURAR

C1.- Seleccionar tanto el mandrino (X o Y) como el disco (V o Z) a utilizar, en función del tubo a ranurar. C2.- Colocar el tubo posicionando su pared entre el mandrino y el disco. C3.- Mediante el mando hidráulico hacer bajar el disco hasta que contacte con el tubo. C4.- Seleccionar la profundidad de penetración del disco mediante la tuerca y contratuerca superior. C5.- El extremo del tubo que no se va a ranurar debe ser apoyado en el soporte para tubo (incluído en el equipo estándar)

D) RANURADO

D1.- Seleccione la velocidad de giro deseada según el tamaño de tubo a ranurar:

• HYDRAULIC ROLL GROOVER

This roll grooving machine is suitable for pipes from 1.1/4” to 12”, made in steel, copper, stainless steel for water, electricity and gas. Besides having compact structure, simple operation and higt eficiency. It is characterized by a hydraulic device that assures a easy to get and to control groove, with less power and long life of disks. So, it provides quality, control and comfort. It also has a depth and width control of the groove making the groove according to dimensions of AWWA C606-87 standard. These machines have been widely applied in installing and building industries.

• OPERATION GUIDE

A) SETTING THE GROOVER

A1.- Move back the threading carriage and take it out.(if necessary) A2.- Insert both bars of the machine in the holes in the groover carriage. A3.- Insert the end of the mandrel (X or Y depending on the pipe size) into the front chuck. A4.- Lock the front chuck, by jecking the front chuck hand-wheel towards you.

B) MOVING BACK THE GROOVER

B1.- A sharp jerk in clockwise direction will open the front chuck B2.- Proceed to take out the groover.

C) PREPARATION FOR GROOVING

C1.- Select both the mandrel (X or Y) and the disk (V or Z) to be used, depending on the pipe to be grooved. C2.- Place the pipe wall between the mandrel and the grooving disk. C3.- Using the hydraulic system, get down the grooving disk until it touches the pipe. C4.- Select the depth of the groove with the superior nut and back nut. C5.- The end of the pipe which is not going to be grooved must be lean in a pipe stand (included in standard equipment)

D) GROOVING

D1.- Set the speed changer lever depending on the pipe to be grooved:

D2.- Ponga la máquina en marcha, pulsando el botón de ON. El tubo empezará a girar. D3.- Para evitar que el tubo deslice y haga movimiento helicoidal, presiónelo con la mano derecha en dirección contraria a su posición, inclinándolo ligeramente. (ver dibujo, pág.5) D4.- Una vez que la máquina haya comenzado la ranura, puede dejar de presionar el tubo puesto que ya no patinará. D5.- En cada vuelta del tubo baje el maneral hidráulico un cuarto de su carrera aproximadamente. D6.- Una vez que la ranura haya sido formada, deje dar dos vueltas extras al tubo para así regular toda la ranura por igual. D7.- Pulse el botón de OFF. D8.- Gire el pomo del cilindro hidráulico, con lo que el disco subirá liberando el tubo. D9.- Extraiga el tubo ya ranurado.

• PRUEBA Se aconseja realizar siempre una ranura de prueba para comprobar que todos los parámetros son correctos.

• MANTENIMIENTO

E) CABEZAL

E1.- Lubricar los cojinetes del eje principal a través de los engrasadores que lleva en la parte superior del cabezal.

F) BARRAS

F1.- Mantener limpias las barras donde ha de deslizarse el carro, engrasándolas frecuentemente.

G) PLATO DE ARRASTRE

G1.- Mantenga limpias las garras para que éstas queden oscilantes y no bloqueadas. G2.- Reemplace las bocas de agarre cuando su dentadura esté dañada o desgastada, no realizando correctamente la retención del mandrino de ranurado.

H) MOTOR

H1.- Tenga en cuenta que este motor dispone de un condensador de arranque que deben mantener limpio y seco, sustituyéndolo cuando sea necesario. Este va alojado al lado del motor.

D2.- Switch ON the machine. The pipe will begin to roll. D3.- To avoid the pipe slipping and helicoidal moving, push it backwards, inclining it slightly. (see drawing, page 5) D4.- Once the disk has started the groove, the user don´t have to push pipe, due to the pipe won´t slip. D5.- In each pipe turn, push the hydraulic handle a quarter of its play, approximatelly. D6.- Once the groove has been totally made, let the pipe turn twice to get a perfectly finished groove. D7.- Switch OFF the machine. D8.- Turn off the hydraulic piston knob, so, the disk will release the pipe. D9.- Take out the pipe already grooved.

• TEST It is very useful making a groove test to check all the parameters are well chosen.

• MAINTENANCE

E) HEAD STOCK

E1.- Lubricate hollow spindle bearings through the two grease nipples in the head stock.

F) CARRIAGE

F1.- Clean and lubricate frequently the bars of the carriage.

G) FRONT CHUCK

G1.- Keep the chuck-jaws clean so that they swing and they are not blocked. G2.- Replace the chuck-jaws when their theeth is damaged or worn out and the don’t make correctly the pipe turning retention.

H) MOTOR

H1.- Take into account that this motor has a condenser that must be kept clean and dry, replace it when necessary. This is placed beside the motor.
