Do not let air, dust, or other impurities fall in thepipe systemduring the time of installation. The connecting pipe should not be installed untilthe indoor and outdoor units have been fixedalready. Keep the connecting pipe dry, and do not letmoisture in during installation.
The outdoor unit is factory charged withrefrigerant. Some systems require additional
charging of regrigerant depending on pipe lengths. The additional refrigerant to be charged can becalculated fromthe following formule:
R = T X (L-5)mR(g): Additional regrigerant to be cargedT(g):The length of the liquid pipeL(m):The quantity of charged refrigerant per meter
Daub the surfaces of the flare pipe and the jointnuts with frozen oil, and wrench it for 3~4 roundswith hands before fasten the flare nuts.(Refer to chart 16)Be sure to use two wrenches simultaneously whenyou connect or disconnect the pipes.
The stop value of the outdoor unit should beclosed absolutely (as original state). Every timeyou connect it, first loosen the nuts at the part ofstop value , then connect the flare pipeimmediately (in 5 minutes). If the nuts have beenloosened for a long time, dusts and other
