Mary was the young woman chosen by God to be the earthly mother of Jesus Christ, and to raise Him in preparation for His ministry and His ultimate sacrifice.

The Jewish Law was very strict and severe

Mary still believed and obey God. “Be it done to me according to your word.”

Her life was focused on Jesus
