The Mac Dummies Guide To Making the SlaveMaker Flash Application Executable.

Start the application 'Terminal' (found in the Utilities folder)Type:

chmod ugo+x

and add a space after the 'ugo+x'- don't hit return yet.

Switch to the Finder, leaving the Terminal running. Locate the Mac version of the SlaveMaker standalone Flash application. Right click on it (or Command-Click-whatever you use to bring up a contextual menu) and select, "Show Package Contents"

Navigate through the "Contents" folder in the package window and into the "MacOS" folder.

Now, select the "Flash Player" file in that folder, then drag and drop it onto the Terminal window. The command line should now show the full path of the file in addition to the 'chmod ugo+x' e.g. similar to-

chmod ugo+x /Volumes/Drive/SlaveMaker\ 3.3/SlaveMaker3.app/Contents/MacOS/Flash\ Player

Make sure the terminal is active and that the 'chmod ugo+x' and file path have aspace between them (add one if needed- use the cursor keys to move around), then hit 'Return.' All done. Close the extra windows and enjoy the game.

Do note that you may have to repeat this procedure if there are later updates that contain newer versions of the application.
