INTRODUCTION

M.C.S. Security was established 1985. M.C.S. is registered with the Private Security Regulatory Authority.

MISSION STATEMENT

• To deliver an effective service and to protect our clients. Our first priority is our clients’ safety and the safeguarding of their property.

• We are crime orientated and our primary functions are proactive and reactive policing.

• Fanie Booysen and Reinhard Raschke are the men behind M.C.S. Security. Fanie Booysen has 27 years service with the South African Police Service. He co-owns the

business with Reinhard Raschke. Reinhard Raschke has 27 years experience in the Private Security Sector.

• Crime Stop Pretoria and Moot Gemeenskap Security joined forces in 2010 to become the largest Armed Reaction Company in the Moot area. We have the fastest reaction time in the area.

• We have a large guarding division that is spread over the entire Pretoria Metropolitan Area.

SERVICES CONTROL AND SUPERVISION

• 24 Hour Control Centre

• Our Control Centre is in direct radio contact with all other security companies and

the SAPS.

• Inspectors in radio equipped vehicles monitor all shift changes and carry out random site inspections.

• All guards are equipped with radio’s, with an hourly radio check done on all guards. If there is no response, an inspector is immediately dispatched

• All guards under CCTV monitoring

• All guards monitored by “Patrol system”

• All alarms are monitored on a 24 hour basis via the control room.

TRANSPORT

• Armed Response vehicles are in our standard colours and marked with our logo.

• Armed Response vehicles are in direct radio contact with ourcontrol centre and with each other.

• Vehicles are allocated to areas where they are needed. SECURITY GUARDS

• All guards are neatly dressed in a standard Crime Stop uniform.

• Guards are equipped with the necessary equipment that is needed to fight crime.

• All guards are trained and registered at SIRA, where a set of finger prints is placed and verified to ensure honest and reliable employees.

• Any extra training needed is provided.

• A radio is installed on site and Cell phone communication is provided at larger sites.

• A guard monitoring system can be provided and installed at any site if the need arises. An alarm is activated if the guard does not clock within a certain amount of time.

If there is no power we can install an alarm system with a solar panel which is monitored by a G.P.R.S. System, from anywhere in South Africa.

CCTV

• We have the latest technology in Camera monitoring and we have a fully equipped Control Room to monitor any camera linked to our network.

• All our Cameras are linked to the control room via the internet.

• There are specially trained personnel employed to monitor the cameras 24/7.

• We have specially trained technicians on call to install and maintain the Cameras and network.

• We offer a variety of cameras to suit the Client’s needs and specifications. FIRE& ACCESS CONTROL

• These systems consist of different types of equipment that can satisfy your needs. We have the necessary knowledge and expertise to install and maintain all products installed. These systems have a low maintenance.

• We use a legitimate supplier who would not only ensure safety but also security of a high standard.

• The supplier also – Trains the security company Installs the equipment to the manufacturer’s specifications. Ensures total protection against all environmental conditions.

INTERCOMS, ELECTRIC FENCES AND GATE MOTORS

• Intercom Systems: A video intercom can be installed. It is used to see who is at the gate and allow the person to enter.

Telephone intercom: Can be installed in a domestic workers room to call her when needed or for gate entry.

• Electric Fences can also be installed to the clients requirements. The fencing wire used is of a high stainless steel quality. The electric fence can be linked to an existing alarm system.

• Gate motors: A wide range of gate motors can be installed for a wide variety of gates. All gate motors are installed with Anti-theft brackets and contacts can be attached to the motor to connect it to the alarm system.

Garage motors: A wide range of garage motors can be installed for a wide variety of garage doors.

As explained to you, we only operate in this area and can therefore provide you with a very personal service, which makes our control and response time that much faster and easier.

You are welcome to visit our control room to au fait yourself of the service we offer and how the cameras are monitored. OUR FIXED GUARD SERVICE INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING: (P LEASE NOTE THE ADDED VALUE TO THE GUARD SERVICE). GUARDS We only make use of guards that reside in the area. These personnel therefore do not have transport issues and cannot be intimidated by outside parties. We will train a variety of guards on the premises to avoid a shortage of trained guards at any time. SIRA Al our guards are SIRA registered and comply with all requirements of the security legislation. REACTION AND GUARDING SEVICES WE ONLY OPERATE IN THE “MOOT” AREA As we only operate in the geographical area of the Moot and CBD, our reaction to problems and site visits are fast and effective. We have six (6) vehicles on the road in this small area at all times. We also have three managers that visit the guards at regular intervals to ensure quality service. This service also therefore includes connection of your alarm system to our control room for monitoring and reaction. UNIFORM: The guards wear a neat uniform and we ensure that the guards are clean, neat and presentable on the premises. The guards do not pay for their uniform, but receive a monthly uniform allowance for the care of their clothing. The uniforms can also be viewed at our office at 769 Codonia Avenue, Waverley.

SALARIES AND BENEFITS Our guards are remunerated according to legislation guidelines in all aspects. They are entitled to 21 days leave per annum and also receive a 13th cheque after completion of every 12 months’ service. We also belong to a Provident Fund which gives the guards the necessary peace of mind in case of any unforeseen problems. We also pay our guards before the end of the month to ensure that they are in the position to fulfill their monthly obligations. We therefore expect payment from our clients by the 25/28th of each month. RADIOS Apart from the normal equipment, guards are also equipped with a two-way radio, in order to be in communication with our control room and reaction units at all times. They are also obliged to contact the control room every 30 minutes to confirm that everything is in order. EQUIPMENT Guards are equipped with the following: 1. Radio 2. Baton 3. Handcuffs 4. Uniform PATROL SYSTEM We make use of a unique CLOCK SYSTEM to monitor patrols and the alertness of the guards, especially at night. We are therefore able to present you each month with a computer printout with a summary of the guards’ movements and to determine their effectiveness.
