*It´s known as S.L.E (sistemic lupus erithematosus)*Much more common in women than in men*It may occur at any age, however it is more
frequently found in people between 15 and 44*Africans and Asians are more frequently
affected than people of other breeds or colorcasts.
* CAUSES AND PREVENTIONS
The causes are not fully studied but this illness can only be prevented by doing basic things:•Doing daily exercise •Going frequently to the doctor´s
checkouts•Prevent alcohol
*AFFECTED PARTS
*This illness can affect:- The skin and joints- Kidneys and brain-Nervous system- lungs
*SYMPTOMS
• Swelling (this generally affects to hands,wrists and knees)
• Mouth ulcers• Hair loss
*NERVOUS SYSTEM: headaches, numbness,tingles, vision problems and personality changes
*DIGESTIVE TUBE: abdominal pain and sickness
*lUNGS: expectoration with bloodand breathing difficulties
*SKIN: unlikely skin colorous that change when it is cold
*KIDNEY: leg swelling and weight lost
* TREATMENTS
It´s treatment consists of pills and medicines:•Hydroxychloroquine•chloroquine
Antimalarial drugs used to treat the lupus
