using to report the news. During the reporting we usually find the signal words of present simple as the list below;

recently, nowadays, at the present, always, sometimes, seldom, often, usually, never, every day, every year, after school, on Monday etc.

These signal words sometimes are considered as adv. of frequency or the phrases of time.

1. At the beginning of sentence- Nowadays, people are sick by the flu.- Every year, I go to clinic for the vaccination.

2. Before the main verb- Davin usually washes his hands.- Jacky sometimes stays home when he is sick.
