• bahan dimasukkan ke dalam piringan dengan kecepatan yang konstan
• gaya sentrifugal dan pergesekan antara bahan baku material akan menghasilkan granula yang diinginkan
• Beberapa granul berukuran besar terbentuk sedangkan granul yang lain masih kecil-kecil.
• Granul yang berukuran besar ini akan terdorong ke bibir pan/pinggiran piringan granulator dan akhirnya akan keluar dan jatuh ke bawah.
