leaders of the future, it is essential that students are equipped with excellent English communication skills.

The Nexus SELT Program is designed to improve Korean students’ English speaking proficiency. This program uses a blended learning system that enables students to study English in several ways: on-line, off-line, and via

Web cam.

English Cracker, a main component of the Nexus SELT program, is a six-

level course book series that develops young learners’ English ability. The approach is to satisfy their scholastic curiosity while having fun.

The topics covered by English Cracker are familiar to young learners.

Students can have fun with everyday topics, such as talking about friends and neighbors, expressing likes and dislikes, or talking about school subjects and classes. This program uses fun stories and realistic dialogues to engage young learners.

The Nexus SELT Program makes learning English easy and convenient by providing both on-line and off-line learning environments. This unique approach makes studying English easily accessible for students outside of designated class hours.

And finally, the Nexus SELT Program helps students learn English in a step-by-step method. Students start by using learned utterances and expand to storytelling, delivering

opinions, and engaging in discussion. Once they reach level 6, learners start to develop their presentation skills.
