SITE LOCATION PLAN

Scope of Works comprising of planning, preparation, construction and completion of the following :-

Road Construction Including site clearing, excavation and removal of unsuitable materials, cut and fill, imported suitable fill, spread and compact to the required formation level.Flexible Pavement Construction of proposed new carriageway including sub-base, road base and asphaltic concrete finishes, resurfacing existing carriageway, roundabout and junctions, crack sealing and patching works.Drainage Construction and completion of Reinforced Concrete Box and Pipe Culverts for extension of main road’s culverts), Surface Drainage facilities and associated ancillary works. Traffic Signal System Supply, install, testing and commissioning of Traffic Signal system.

SCOPE OF WORKS

Piling Works (Provisional) Comprising of installation of :-

200mm x 200mm RC Square Piles as foundation for RC Culverts 150mm x 150mm and 250mm x 250mm RC Square Piles as foundation for

piled embankment 355.6mm Micropiles for bridges foundation.

Road Furnitures Traffic Management Provision for full time traffic management team for the entire duration of the contract. Bridge Works Reinforced Concrete Works and other associated works for the construction and completion of :-

Sg. Similajau Bridge (B)- 90m length in 3 spans Sg. Similajau Bridge No. 3 (B) -45m length in 3 spans

Contactor has submitted Insurance Policies cover notes prior to site possession date for:- Workmen’s Compensation (Cover Note No. : AK 96234) Contractor’s All Risk (Cover Note No. : AK96233)

Contractor to notify plantation owner of intention to commence work and to clear the area up to construction limit.

Notification to relevant authorities with regard to utilities relocation.
