2009 Graduate Survey Summary Overall Response Rate: 69% (252 out of 364 graduates)

Campus Based Undergraduates: 71% (123 of 173 graduates) External Degree Program: 63% (87 of 138 graduates) Graduate Programs: 79% (42 out of 53 graduates)

PLACEMENT DATA 94% (218 of 233 respondents) reported that they are employed or continuing their education 95% (173 of 204 respondents) reported that they are employed or continuing their education in Vermont 78% (109 of 139 respondents) reported that their job is directly or somewhat related to their major SALARY INFORMATION 52% (64 out of 124 respondents) reported salaries over $25,000: 27% $25,000 - $34,999 24% over $35,000 CAREER PREPARATION 75% (133 of 175 respondents) reported that JSC provided good or excellent preparation for job/activities since graduation 75% (126 of 169 respondents) reported that their major provided good or excellent preparation for job/activities since graduation 30% (52 of 176 respondents) of those who report extracurricular or co-curricular activities say that their participation provided them with excellent or good preparation for life after JSC 50% (67 out of 135 respondents) reported participating in an internship or practicum while at JSC - of this group: 14% are currently employed at the internship/practicum site 4% received an offer to continue, but declined 19% reported that they were hired elsewhere because of the experience gained through their internship/practicum
