Use Of The Penalty Marker
• Should be tucked out of sight• Discretion, officiating position, and game situation should
determine whether you throw a flag!• As a general rule:• Dead Ball Foul – Air it (i.e., encroachment)• Live Ball Foul – Throw to spot (i.e., holding)
