Introduction Key Topics Research ProjectsThe Resource and the Energy Policy Research Group is comprised of seven motivated researchers who tackle global issues with trans-disciplinaly approaches.

We form research alliances with organizations around the world, and secure the effective research structure, the “Re-sources and the Energy Policy Cluster.”

✓The Resources and the Energy Policy Cluster

Currently, we have 12 on-going research projects.✓

List of On-going Projects

At the Resource and the Energy Policy Research Group, we tackle global issues regarding resources and the energy through transdisciplinaly research projects and policy proposals.

In collaboration with Global CCS Institute (GCCSI), we re-search Bio-Energy CCS(BECCS) development policies.

Carbon Reduction toward Paris Agreement

We have multiple field research projects on renewable energy development in collaboration with the Eco-nomic Research Institute for ASEAN and East Asia (ERIA) and Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA).

✓Renewable Energy in Developing Countries

We go local. Researchers of our research group visit the re-search sites frequently, from Myanmar to Kyushu.

✓Core Elements of Our Group

We are public-minded. We study for the sake of people, not for the sake of science itself.

We are productive. Our award-winning group publishes papers and presents at conferences often.
