ALPHABET

Nearly all Georgian knows that from 14 alphabet in the world 1 is Georgian. We have our own 33 letters in alphabet, different from others. The oldest uncontested example of Georgian writing is an Asomtavruli inscription from 430 AD in a church in Bethlehem.

WORD ‘’WINE’’ According to the researchers the word ‘’wine’’ spread from Georgia to the whole world. It has nearly the same root in many languages. Wein-in German Winum-in Latin Wino-in Russian ღვინო-In Georgian which

has the same sound.
