ProdigyView Installation
Objective
A quick installation guide on how to install ProdigyView using PHP.
Requirements
• Web Server with PHP and FTP access
• A Database
• 0pposable Thumbs

Git the FileTo begin, first we need files to install. The recommended way of downloading the files is from the Git repository. If you do not know how to use git, read the tutorial on ‘Git and Github Basics’.
Get The FilesAlternatively, download the latest Sample System in PHP from the core page.
To Your Web ServerLocate the downloaded files and with your favorite ftp client upload them to a root directory on a web server.
Create your DatabaseThe next step differs depending on the database you use, so make sure you have your database ready. You will need the following information:
Host
Database name
Database user
Database user password
Schema(Optional)
Port(Optional)

Set up your configuration file
Find the PHP configuration file and open it with your favorite PHP editor.
Set the Database Variables
Set the database options according to your setup
InstallationIn a browser, proceed to the installation directory and run the installer.
Complete!Make sure that all the database tables were installed properly and you are done. You now have the ability to use ProdigyView and all it’s features.
