The Iraq Securities Commission was established according to order No (74) for year 2004 as independent government commission. The world economic deflation during 2009 & 2010 did not reflect on Iraq Stocks Exchange activity because the weakness of the external investment connection in Iraq Stocks Exchange. Nevertheless, this deflation reflects a little fallback in the trading volume of securities at ISX, where the trading volume decreasing represents (2.8%), whereas the shares prices keep on a level closely to that of the last year. The Iraq Securities Commission issues the fifth annual report of the trading movement at ISX, in order to promote the transparency and disclosure in this vital activity of the Iraq economic. It hopes to enhancing investment infrastructural and encouraging the development of capital forming through protect the investors at ISX from deceiving, fraud, and manipulation.

انخفض حجم التداول الى ما يقارب(400) مليار دينار خالل عام 2010 مقابل مايقارب(411.9) مليار دينار خالل عام 2009 وبنسبة مقدارها (2.8%) , احتل القطاع المصرفي خالل عام 2010 المرتبة االولى من حيث حجم التداول حيث بلغ حجم التداول ما يقارب (259.4)مليار دينار وبنسبة ( 64.8%) من المجموع الكلي ,وجاء

في المركز الثاني قطاع الصناعي حيث بلغ حجم التداول ما يقارب (65.5)مليار دينار وبنسبة ( 16.4% ) من المجموع الكلي , وجاء في المركز الثالث القطاع الفندقي والسياحي حيث بلغ حجم التداول ما يقارب (50) مليار دينار وبنسبة (12.5% ) من المجموع الكلي ، وقد بلغ معدل الجلسه لحجم التداول خالل عام 2010مايقارب

(1.7) مليار دينار مقابل ( 2.7 ) مليار دينار خالل عام 2009 , وبلغت عدد جلسات التداول خالل هذاالعام (237) جلسة تداول بينما بلغ عدد جلسات التداول خالل عام 2009 (152) جلسه .

1-Trading Volume

The trading volume decreased closely to (400) billion ID during 2010 to closely (411.9) billion ID during 2009 at rate (2.8%), the bank sector occupied the first position by trading volume during 2010 where it reached about (259.4) at rate (64.8%) from the entire total, the Industrial sector achieved the second position where the trading volume reached about (65.5) billion ID at rate (16,4%) from the entire total, and the hotels&tourism sector became in third position where the trading volume reached about (50) billion ID at rate (12.5%) from the entire total. The session average of the trading volume reached about (1.7) billion ID during 2010 instead of (2,7) billion ID during 2009, and the number of trading sessions reached (237) trading sessions in this year while it reached (152) sessions during 2009.

2010 ما يقارب (1) مليار سهم مقابل (1.3 ) مليــــار سهـــــم لعــــام 2009.

The number of traded shares increased about (255.6) billion shares during 2010 instead of about (211) billion shares during 2009 at rate (21%), the bank sector occupied the first position by the number of traded shares where it reached about (190.7) billion shares at rate (74.6%) from the entire total, the Industrial sector achieved in the second position where the number of traded shares reached about (53.2) billion shares at rate (20.8%) from the entire total, and the services sector became in the third position where the number of traded shares reached about (6) billion shares at rate (2.4%) from the entire total. The session average of the number of traded shares reached about (1) billion shares during 2010 instead of (1,3) billion shares during 2009.

The number of executed transactions reached (71.7)thousands transactions during 2010 instead of (49.3)thousands transactions during 2009 at rate (45.4%), the bank sector

occupied the first position by the number of transactions where it reached (26.7)thousands at rate (37.4%) from the entire total, the Industrial sector achieved the second position where the number of transactions reached (20.8)thousands at rate (29%) from the entire total, and the

hotels & tourism sector where the number of executed transactions reached (11.5) at rate (16.1%) from the entire total. The session average of the number of executed transactions

يوضح الجدول اعاله ان صافي االستثمار االجنبي (شراء االسهم من قبل االجانب - بيع االسهم من قبل االجانب ) خالل السنة قد بلغ (54568.9) مليون دينار . وجاء ذلك نتيجه شراء االجانب لالسهم العراقيه بمبلغ (62888.2) مليون دينار ، في حين اقتصرت مبيعاتهم من االسهم على (8319.3) مليون دينار فقط . ولدى مقارنه ذلك بالسنه السابق نتوصل الى زيادة اقبال المستثمرين االجانب على السوق العراقيه تركز شراء االجانب على الشركات ( مصرف بغداد ، مصرف التجاري ، مصرف الشمال ، مصرف الخليج ، مصرف المنصور ) اذ بلغ حجم شراء االجانب لهذه االسهم مبلغ ( 47186) مليون دينار ويمثل نسبه ( 11.8%) من حجم التداول الكلي اضافه الى شركه بغداد

للمشروبات الغازيه .The table above explains that the Non-Iraqis investment net (buy & sell) reached (54568.9) million ID during the year As a result for the Non-Iraqis

buying of the Iraqi's shares at amount (62888.2) million ID, while their selling of shares restricted on (8319.3)million ID. The number of the Non-Iraqi Investors on the Iraqi's market has been increased as comparing with the last year, where the non-Iraqis` buying increased on (Baghdad Bank,

Commertial Bank, North Bank, Gulf commertial Bank, and Al-Mansour Bank), the buying volume reached (47186) million ID represent (11.8%) from total trading volume beside Baghdad soft drinks.

Mamoura Realestate for investment occupied the first position by the number of executed transactions which reached (3899) transactions at rate (5.4%) from the transactions entire total, Middle east investment Bank achieved the second position where the number of executed transactions reached (3521)at rate (4.9%) from the entire total,Palestine Hotel became in the third position where the number of executed transactions reached (3444) at rate (4.8%) from the entire total. Whereas the number of executed transactions of the top ten companies reached (29902) transactions and it represents (41,7%) from the transactions entire total.
