I’m a TFM 2015 fellow, currently teaching Form 1 to Form 4 students English at a public
school in Malaysia. Sadly, I discovered the students here seem to be highly
unmotivated to learn in English. One of the biggest reason being there is no conducive, safe and properly equipped classroom for them to learn and practice their language skills (as images attached). Broken whiteboards, broken tables &
chairs and missing doors...putting myself in their position, I will be equally unmotivated
to learn anything from the teachers.
