CLASS MEETINGS (IN GENERAL) ・まず，週３日，１回あたり３時間という緩さに驚く ・but, 予習量は少なくないので，当初は予習（と買い物）で終わる ・予習してきた文献に対してBrianが講義をした後，議論に入る．生徒の反応に応じ，問いを柔軟に変える姿勢が素晴らしい． ・神学専攻のANUの学生とOxfordの学生，SUNYの哲学専攻の学生の発言が相対的に多かった． ・キルケゴールの思想の意義というよりは，文章で彼が考えていたこと，当時の時代背景，論理の立て方など，結構内在的

→本人が直接書けば良いものを…と思っていたが，ギリシア以来のレトリックの技法の説得力と構造に感動する．

Sickness unto Death: キルケゴールは哲学者だと納得する．

“The human being is spirit. But what is spirit? Spirit is the self. But what is the self? The self is a relation which relates to itself, or that in the relation which is its relating to itself. The self is not the relation but the relation’s relating to itself. A human being is a synthesis of the infinite and the finite, of the temporal and the eternal, of freedom and necessity. In short a synthesis. A synthesis is a relation between two terms. Looked at in this way a human being is not yet a self.” (SUD, 43)

CLASS MEETINGS (SPECIFIC POINTS) Works of Love: 4章”Love seeks not its own”より “Love seeks not its own; for in love there is no mine and yours. But mine and yours are only relational qualifications of “one’s own”” Next is his idea on individualism. As for the idea on individualism, he thought that in order for us to be independent from each other as well as be respectful among ourselves, we need to think that ‘there is no distinction for the lovers between mine and yours’. (Love seeks not its own, 248) For him, there is no mine or yours, there is only an I or a you. Using the idea of love, he showed that beyond the ‘spontaneous mine of self-love which stands continuously against a yours’, a fellowship which is established through the exchange of contentious mine and yours enable us not to love his or her own individuality but to love ‘each human being according to the other’s individuality. (Ibid. 249)

町の中心部の一つ． ここから歩いて数分で キャンパスに着きます． 地図の通り，大学の施設 が市内に散在しています．

• プログラムに応募した動機 •  英語で人文系のプログラムを受けてみたかった．

• 授業を受けてみて •  分かるところは分かる，分からないところは分からない •  ロジックが腑に落ちた瞬間は結構楽しい． •  哲学と社会学が考える個人と社会の違いがなんとなく分か

るようになった． •  社会は多様だけど，世界は一つ？

• 夏のデンマークは素晴らしい生活環境です． • チャンスがあれば海外で学んでもよいかと思う．
