Lo spinnerbait tradizionale è una struttura in filo metallico, con una o più palette su girella o cavalierino nella parte superiore; piombo, amo e skirt nella parte inferiore. Herakles ha voluto rivoluzionare questa situazione: la struttura in filo metallico resta, ma viene aggiunta una testa in ABS nella parte superiore a cui vengono fissati amo e skirt. Nella parte inferiore resta il piombo cui è fissata una paletta tramite split ring e girella. Inoltre, una seconda paletta montata su cavalierino gira intorno al proprio asse nella parte superiore. Il motivo di questa “mutazione” è la voglia di creare uno spinnerbait da recuperare a stretto contatto con il fondo su flat e sassaie, luoghi in cui un amo sulla parte inferiore può essere d’impiccio, o non perfettamente efficace al momento dell’abboccata. Il risultato è uno spinner bait, che produce moltissime vibrazioni perfetta per insidiare i grandi predatori che lo aggrediscono scambiandolo per un branco di pesce foraggio, o semplicemente perché vengono infastiditi dal suo passaggio.

The classic spinnerbait set up is composed of one or more blades linked trough a swivel or clevise in the upper part and by a lead head with hook and skirt in the lower part. Introducing the Quake the Herakles team decided to radically innovate this design: the wire structure is the same, but an ABS head with hook and skirt is added on the upper part. The lead head is positioned in the lower part and is equipped with a blade attached trough a split ring and a swivel. The reason behind this “mutation” is the idea to develop a spinnerbait that allows a good retrieve on flats and rocky grounds, where a classic spinnerbait with the hook positioned in the lower part does not always guarantee good performances. The swim of the Quake is characterized by a huge number of vibrations, and is perfect for stimulating the attacks of big predators by simulating a school of bait fish or simply by disturbing them.

Il Flatter Compact è uno spinnerbait dalla caratteristica testa larga è piatta che contraddistingue la serie, ma con dimensioni più contenute. È disponibile in due versioni: una con una sola paletta willow leaf liscia, l’altra tandem, con una paletta willow leaf martellata e una piccola paletta Colorado liscia. Entrambe le versioni hanno amo 1/0 e skirt con filamenti fini e larghi che pulsano durante il recupero. La compattezza rende questo spinnerbait perfetto per essere usato a pitching nelle strutture, ma anche in acque poco profonde o in presenza di spot molto stressati.

The Flatter Compact features the flat head distinguishing this wire bait series but in a smaller size. Il risultato è Jig Up, un jig dalla testa particolare, schiacciata, larga, aerodinamica e idrodinamica. Adatta alle sassaie e alle cover sommerse. Già queste caratteristiche sarebbero quelle di un ottimo jig, ma la particolarità sono i due sostegni alla base della testa che tengono l’amo ed il trailer sempre in posizione stand up una volta sul fondo, da qui il nome Jig Up. Questi due sostegni non ostacolano la penetrazione nelle cover, poiché il polimero di cui sono composti presenta la flessibilità necessaria per piegarsi e poi tornare nella posizione originaria. Con questa posizione lo skirt fatto di filamenti larghi e fini si apre dando ancora più volume d’insieme alla presentazione. The result is the Jig Up, a special shaped flat and wide, aero and idro dynamic head. Perfect on rocky bottoms and submerged covers. This features will eventually distinguish this jig already but the two arms at the base of the head keeping permanently in a stand up position the jig and the trailer are the main feature of this innovative lure. This two arms will not affect the cover penetration thanks to the special composition of the arm polimers, flexing and coming back to its original shape. Si tratta di un ondulante da competizione, si lancia lontano, ha un ottimo movimento durante il recupero, in caduta e in trattenuta. Questo è il risultato della ricerca sul campo nelle più differenti condizioni, un’esca che cattura le trote in piena attività, ma anche quelle apatiche… Tutte le misure sono dotate di amo singolo senza ardiglione, che ormai è praticamente obbligatorio nei circuiti del Trout Area e nella maggior parte dei laghi e dei torrenti con pesca a regolamento specifico. L’efficacia del Losko è una certezza, sia in termini di quantità, che termini di qualità delle catture.

The Losko series thanks to its spearhead shape is ideal for both the Trout Area and for all high selective predators fishing. It’s a competition spoon. It’s a long casting lure. Produce an excellent movement during retrieve, the fall and the hold up as well. This is the result of a field research. I was tested in different fishing conditions. This lure will catch the active trout as well as the apathetic ones. All the sizes are equipped with a single barbless hook which is by now necessary in the Trout Area’s competitions and in most of the lakes and streams with specific fishing regulations. The Monster Keeper spoon was designed for big predators fishing and it’s available in 3 different sizes. Size 15gr is the smaller one. Sizes 30gr and 45gr feature the same length and the same width, the only difference is about their thickness. This decision is in order to keep the same pear shape of the keeper series. Each of these 3 sizes is obtained through metal moldings in order to maximize the casting distance, the swimming action and the movement during the falling. Every model features with high catching colors and top quality treble hooks.

Nasce da una collaborazione tra Marco Riello e Franco Mancini. Con la loro esperienza hanno studiato e realizzato un prodotto con caratteristiche veramente uniche. Metal Fire è un metal vib lure di 12 grammi molto performante, funziona nel recupero a dente di sega, vibra come una metal vib ed ha un ottimo rendimento nelle tecniche verticali. Non è stato facile ottenere tanto da un’esca metallica, ma il risultato raggiunto è andato “oltre”, poiché Metal Fire nuota anche come un lipless crankbait durante il recupero lineare. Ma non è tutto, perché diventa anche in un “Metal Vib Spin”. Infatti, in dotazione viene offerta una paletta willow leaf (appositamente disegnata) che produce lampi di luce durante il suo utilizzo. Con questo montaggio, semplicemente cambiando posizione di aggancio (vedi foto esplicative) possiamo scegliere tra: un recupero lineare (classico del Metal Vib Spin), oppure possiamo pescare con la vera accoppiata vincente fatta di un mix tra le vibrazioni di un lippless crankbait ed i lampi di luce del Metal vib Spin!!!!!!! I colori sono stati scelti per essere i più catturanti in mare ed in acqua dolce e proposti in abbinamento a doppi ami bruniti, o stagnati a seconda dei casi. Metal Fire è un’esca “totale” adatta a catturare moltissimi predatori nelle più svariate condizioni: dal grande freddo delle acque dell’Europa del nord, a quelle calde del Mediterraneo, passando per i laghi ed i fiumi dell’Europa centrale e meridionale.

The lure comes from the cooperation between Marco Riello and Franco Mancini. Thanks to their experience they have designed and developed a one of a kind lure. The Metal Fire is a high performance metal vib 12grams lure. It works on a up and down retrieve, it vibrates like a metal vib and it performs extremely well in vertical fishing techniques. All these features were not easy to obtain from a metal bait, but the results is a mix of them, because the Metal Fire swims like a lipless crankbait during straight retrieving, but there’s more because it also becomes a “Metal Vib Spin”, in a matter of fact, a willow leaf blade (specifically developed for it) is included in each lire pack, it will produce flashes of light during the retrieving. Using this blade and only changing the snap positioning (see instructions) we can choose between: a linear retrieve (classic Metal Vib Spin), or we can fish with the winning combination obtained by a mix between the vibrations of a lippless crankbait and the flashes of light Metal vib Spin !!!!!!! The lure colors were selected to be the most capturing in both salt and fresh water and the lures are equipped with black nickel double hooks, featuring an appropriate thin diamater black nikel color hooks shank. Metal Fire is a “total” lure suitable for capturing many different predators species in various conditions: from the cold waters of Northern Europe, to the warm waters of Mediterranean sea passing across the lake and the rivers of Middle and Southern Europe.

È l’evoluzione del metal jig, più aerodinamico e dotato di una propria azione di nuoto adescante. La sua peculiarità è la possibilità di cambiare la sua azione semplicemente invertendo la parte collegata alla lenza, ossia invertendo il baricentro dell’artificiale. Spostando il baricentro verso la lenza si avranno discese più lente e si potrà jerkare il jig come fosse un lipless o un minnow, con il completo controllo dell’esca che risponderà ad ogni sollecitazione. In questo caso si sfrutteranno le caratteristiche tipiche del recupero del casting jig anche con recuperi lenti. La velocità di caduta non sarà eccessiva e produrrà adescanti rivoluzioni sul proprio asse con conseguenti vibrazioni e lampi di luce. Queste sono tutte caratteristiche ottime per pescare sulle mangianze. Innescato con il baricentro spostato verso il basso renderà molto bene nei recuperi lineari producendo rivoluzioni ancor più repentine sul proprio asse. Inoltre, permetterà gittate di lancio maggiori e offrirà tempi di affondamento più brevi utili per raggiungere gli hot spot tempi più brevi. Kutter possiede i migliori requisiti del classico metal jig e può essere usato come casting jig, o vertical jig. Questo artificiale viene offerto con ancoretta non montata, potrete scegliere di usarla o di sostituirla con single hook, o ancora con uno o più assist hook, a seconda delle vostre esigenze. Qualsiasi sia la vostra scelta rimarrete soddisfatti insidiando i pesci pelagici sulle mangianze off shore, dentici spigole e molti altri predatori a shore jigging.

Moving the center of gravity toward the main line it will possible to obtain slower dives and the chance to jerk the jig like a lipless or a minnow, in full control of the lure that will react to any solicitations. It will be possible to work the lure with all the main characteristic of casting jig fishing even at low speed retrieve. The diving speed will not be too fast and will produce a very enticing rotation on its own axis producing light flashes and vibrations. All this features are perfect for surface freenzies fishing. Rigged with the center of gravity toward the bottom will perform very well on straight retrieves producing fast twists on its own axis, will cast longer and sink faster reaching the strike zone in a shorter time. The Kutter has all the main feature of a casting jig and can be used as a casting jig or a vertical jig.
